Although many of those cars sound nice (V6's never sound good), I would question the judgment of anyone who doesn't include the Carrera GT on such a list. :confused:

I agree with you on V6's EXCEPT the one in the 350Z/G35. That engine sounds sweet--more like an inline-6 than a typical minivan V6. (And to that end, V6 Mustangs are about the worst-sounding cars on the road).

As for my vote, the sweetest sounding street car I've heard in a while is the F430. Goosebumps. Race car? Corvette C6-R. Goosebumps and ruptured eardrums! Too bad the exhaust system on that is not street-legal :ouch:

Most of those cars were "meh". The V8s and the Zender's engine sounded good, but the others didn't seem to be anything special.

If a 360 was included in that video, there are many other contenders that would have been better: a Lamborghini Gallardo, any Mercedes' AMG (V8), a Porsche 911, or even Boxster and Alfa Romeo's GTA cars sound great with a louder exhaust.

Have to agree with the consensus so far. To many cars with so so exhaust noises. What no Zonda F?? Are they mental?

Anyway the best sounding car I have ever been in is a friends 993 with sports airbox.

Carrera GT being blipped. Nice.

Well, I'd have to say my favorite exhaust note is either the Dauer Bugatti EB110 (that driver is a complete putz), the Nissan Skyline R31 , or the Mazda 787B.

The Cizeta sounds like any other supercharged 350 I've ever heard. It doesn't bring anything spectacular to this thread at all. Rare as the car may be, the body is a Diablo wannabe, and the engine sounds bland and unexciting. In my opinion, it's failing at being a supercar.

Hemis rule. Acutally any cammed large-displacement engine sounds mean. You don't need to rev it up to know it means buisness.

Favorite Exhaust notes:

1. HEMI -Big motor, big cam, loud noise. What more do you want?
2. any hopped up flathead. -A really distinct noise that isn't heard often. it sounds like 8 angry lawnmowers on steroids.
3. 2JZ -no ****?
4. Stovebolt -What's not to love about an athsmatic six that's more torquey than a 2JZ?

Nothing compares to a pushrod V8 with huge compression ratios and a crazy cam. The sound of them idling is an absolute symphony.
