Hello,

I'll be participating in an endurance race @ la sarthe this weekend with two running classes with the following rules:

Tunning - Stock
Aids - Off (except ABS 1)
LMP - Max PP: 630
GT3 - Max PP: 600

Considering tyre wear and fuel consumption what would be the best car for each class?
I've chosen to run in LMP but i may change.

I have not found a post that answered my question but if it exists feel free to share it and lock or remove this thread.
Thanks

LMP - I went for the Pescorolos - Fuel is really good because it's a hybrid

GT3 - The GT Academy GTR 2014 - I chose it online for the higher downforce.

Is the hybrid system actually replicated in some way on that car? I haven't driven it lately but it seemed like there wasn't any replicated hybrid system.

can the pescarolos survive 6 / 7 laps without blowing the tires? i tried the R18 in a race last weekent and i still had very good tires (racing hard) when i had to pit for fuel... i will try the pescarolo this week.
For GT3 the academy gtr will probably be banned because we want variety and that car seems better that all the rest... is the z4 better option apart academy?
thanks

630PP is really low for LMPs... I believe that the R18 would be a better choice, it would not need ballast or power restriction.
Though a BoP system based on PP only is not trustworthy...

It is called "hybride" because it was an old LMP900 modified to fit under the new LMP1 rules. It was better than run an old car with performance penalties like Audi.

In real life it did have a lot of problems with fuel consumption, doing shorter stints than R8 '05 although its fuel tank was bigger than Audi's.
