I always thought F1 type wheels were for F1 only but then I watched the Blancpain races at COTA and learned that real life GT3 cars had wheels like them as well.

Question for the experts here:

What's the best wheel I can get that will be compatible with my PS4 CSL Elite base?

Thanks

You answered your own question. The new F1 wheel. But personally I recommend geting the McLaren GT wheel first.

Maclaren is all plastic! After reviewing the simgarages I refused to purchase. And I bought a csl elite ps4 + f1 esports bundle even though it is made of metal and Alcantara pen. And also the display in it is more. It is more reliable and not so expensive. But unlike Maclaren. And not least is the size of the McLaren 30cm and f1 27. It may seem like a toy. but as we know, the smaller the steering wheel, the stronger the transfer of ffb to hands.

One thing to note is the Mclaren wheel has the clutch pedals.

I can see why you'd reply that way. I didn't explain myself well enough. I don't want you guys to think I'm an idiot

I went on the Fanatec site. There were way more wheels than I expected. So, I emailed customer support and asked them which was the best wheel for my CSL Elite base. Their response was that all their wheels were compatible with all their wheel bases

I was really hoping there was 1 wheel considered the "best" for my wheel base. I don't want to make a mistake

If you concider power to weight ratio, I would pick the lightest. If thats important for you. The heavier wheels are built for more powerfull wheels like the CSW and the podium.
