Hi everyone i am just trying to find out if Australia is getting a beta test and when, and does anybody in Australia have a code yet ???????????
and could they post when the get one thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We are technically apart of the ey region so they should be rolling out now. However no one from Australia on this forum has got a code.

The Gran Turismo Sport Closed BETA Test will be expanding its countries and areas of coverage while evaluating its server loads and stability. Later on, we are also planning to expand the Test to Asia and Japan.
 
I made an American PSN when I was living there a couple years ago and applied about a month ago and now have the beta. Have you tried making a US PSN yet then applying? Maybe even EU account?

On a serious note:If AU is included into the EU beta (and I think thats the case) then after all those invites yesterday in EU they'll send the AU invites today.I dont expect many (or any more) EU but I can see the AU coming.Call it a "feeling" if you will.

Yep, I agree that Aus. (and NZ) should find their way into the EU beta.
Many signs, to me, suggest that's the case.

Unfortunately I have two negatives for that though.
The reports on gran-turismo.com/au all the way through the beta announcements, which could be seen as a positive, could easily just be a case of being automated to match what happens on the GB site.
It's almost always is the same in any case.
And of course the race time schedule.
Only the die-hards will be racing in the wee hours Aus. time to match the EU race schedule.

Still, sooner or later I think we'll get the opportunity. 👍

Yes. I can confirm I just received that exact e-mail, with the Australian "CTC" classification included.
Australia is definitely receiving the EU beta this weekend.
 
While Oceania is part of SIEE I reckon we’ll be stuck waiting until the Asia/Japan phase.

The race times would be more practical, and likely produce better results testing with geographically relevant points of presence (the servers), instead of routing all the way to Europe for matchmaking/host selection.

I really hope it's not the case for you guys but that was my thought too. Would make sens with time slot that Australia will get beta access same time as japan.

Another point is that on the schedule with starting time for racing there's no mention of Australia time zone.

So did a friend of mine(we're not Aussies though). We signed up at the same time a month or so ago, I got the beta a few days ago and he just got an e-mail telling him to sign up yesterday. Which he couldn't, cus he already had. :lol:
 
Finished working and went through all my checks.
Nothing.

Just the email inviting me to apply for the beta, as others have already reported.
I figured it couldn't hurt, and it allowed me to continue, so I went through the process one more time. :)
 
I'm guessing Oz beta will coincide with Asia. I'm able to access the American beta with my Euro account (that wasn't invited), but my Oz account is blocked.
 
I believe that 7th of may Asian closed beta will be released and Australia will be included in that. I am also hopeful for a June 15thish game release. Call it a calculated guess.

Game feels a little too rough around the edges to be able to launch by E3 (Pro support is minimal at this point too.) What's your reasoning?

I have just received an email invite this morning for gts beta, Im from NZ. I signed up in the first day or so when the initial EU portal opened.
