bhp?

Brake horsepower.

The next time I tell you something (and it happens frequently) I want you to bow down to me.

It's horsepower measured at the engine's brake, or more specifically, what manufacturers try to sell you. IE, the BMW M3 has 333 hp. Brake horsepower is also known as flywheel horsepower, because the flywheel is the engine's brake.

Real car guys look at how much they can put out to the wheels (WHP). There's usually a 15%-20% loss of hp at the wheels, maybe more depending on the car/drivetrain configuration.

Brake Horsepower, bhp means the maximum continuous brake horsepower output rating as specified by the engine manufacturer and listed on the engine nameplate, if available, regardless of any derating.
