More specialized workout lists that hopefully we can all gain some benefit from. This time it's Biceps. I know a lot of guys will pair up bicep with back and tricep with chest day (and for good reason) but for the last couple of years, I have been doing bi's and tri's on the same day. One week I'll start with Triceps, ending with Biceps and the next will I'll start with Bi's and finish with Tri's. Now that we have that out of the way, here was my Bicep workout today in lbs x # of reps. Be sure to share your routine.

Concentrated Preacher Curls (narrow grip)
45 x 15 (warmup)
65 x 15 (warmup)
75 x 15 (warmup)
95 x 12 (warmup)
115 x 12
135 x 10
155 x 8

Concentrated Standing EZ Bar curls (wide grip)
80 x 15
90 x 15
100 x 12
110 x 12

Concentrated Single Hand, Standing Pully Curls
30 x 15
40 x 15
50 x 12
50 x 12

That concluded our bicep workout, now on to tri's.

As many others have started to do, I do my arms one night, then Back and Chest on seperate nights. and Shoulders/Traps on another. With the right spacing, each muscle group has time to recover before any other muscle group.

I've changed my Cardio at the beginning of my workouts, and am doing 20 minutes on the Elliptical machine, instead of Treadmill.

Biceps!
Seated Dumbell Curls
40x15
45x15
50x15

21's (Barbell Curls)
Each set is 21 reps. 7 reps going halfway up, 7 going halfway down, and 7 full reps.
1st set: 70lbs
2nd set: 80lbs

Preacher Curls
One set of 50lbs (Ez-curl bar) at 30 reps

Incline Dumbell Curls
One set of 30lbs X 30 reps

After this, is my Tricep workout.

I stick with the old dumbbells when it comes to bicep workouts. But as you can see I'm not a heavy duty lifter (yet) :D

Dumbbells (standing)
30x10
30x10
35x5
35x5

After that it's usually an assortment of random lifts with the weights...depends on what is free in the gym.

Good job. 35lb dumbs is no easy task my friend. Keep it up! 👍

Hehe...thanks! Especially considering I'm a tad over 6'2 and I've got a wing span that Michael Jordan would be jealous of
