Actually there are 5, but only 4 are purchaseable. The Black Formula is awarded for 100% completion.

They didn't look CF to me but the again I assumed the 4 were suppose to be unpainted hence CF.

There are lots of black cars in GT4, but they aren't all used race cars, in unpainted carbon fiber or available during the last GT week.

can the black cars be used in any way owner desires? is there a formula 1 open wheel car available?

is it important to keep game console on for internal date to move along so i can get to purchase special cars on their specific days?

Black cars can be used in the same exact way any Group C can, and the day counter has nothing to do with the amount of time you have the game on for, just the number of races you enter, cars you buy, etc. A day is used every time you buy a car, buy new rims or a wing, enter a race, etc.

The Used Black Race Cars (4), are available the last 7 days of every 700 day cycle.
So they are available days 694-700, 1394-1400, 2094-2100, 2794-2800, etc...
The Black Formula is a Prize Car, awarded for 100% Game Completion. Hope this helps any confusion.

1. Yes, the Black FGT is an open wheel race car. It is a Formula 1 car.
2. No, unless you cheat with a Gameshark.

Yes, I have raced a black R92CP and a black 787B before. That was after I had them but it shows it's possible.

No hidden tracks. Monaco is in the game as Cote d'Azur.
