Black screen before race begins

Hey guys, a few of my mates for gt7 have been trying to join the specific manufacturers and nations cup entries at the right time but when the countdown is finished, all they get is a black screen and kicked out the race. Is this a known bug or is there something some players are doing that can lead to this?

similar to this in my case sometimes my console was frozen while loading a circuit, now this does not happen by reducing the difficulty of the AI.

Yeh I cant work it out. The online races are okay its just the official cup races that black screen. Happened to 3 of my mates twice now on separate days and times

have you tried reinstalling? This solved several problems for me.

Press the PS button and then quit. It will release you to the track.

I get it now and again, and the loading times on PS4 Slim seem to be getting longer and longer, even restarts on Missions etc.

It's been reported from several users that you can be waiting up to 7 minutes between the daily race lobby and going to the grid.

Lol 14 minutes waited yesterday, when finally got to grid in race C there was only 2 of us on grid & when race was over we obviously missed next race, this black screen happened to me 5 times yesterday & I saw a couple of others type Black screen when I was on grid.
