Might sound stupid, but which black chip has the deepest black shade of them all?

I just got my 1000th car, a S2000 and I wanna make it very special, all black. Black rims, spoiler, and of course black body.

Wouldn't matte black or a 3P version of black be the darkest? Are you looking for blackest as in the darkest or a shiny black finish?

Matte black is too gray.

Where do I get 3P black?

Black shiny, since matte finish looks too gray.

I would swear on the life of me that the Nissan dealership has one of their cars in a black 3P, but I don't want to give my life up for that.

I think either the 370Z or the GT-R has it.

I used Onyx on my GNX because the standard black was too grey. Dont remember where I got the chip, but it is very very black.

Sounds like it came from a German car.

"Super Black" on the GT-R looks fly.
I was wrong on the name but I guess I was right on the car.

Simply "Black" from Toyota is good, seems to originate from the Supra 3.0GT Turbo A, and "Schwarz" from VW - an old Beetle colour - works also pretty well.

That "black" might be the one I have in my paint collection.

Also one chip named "black" alone is very dark.

I must say, most paint chips are the color they are advertised as. The only issue comes with the color shifting (duh) and the color flip-flop yellow, which looks entirely white.

There are a few chips named "black" most of them don't do what they promise :yuck:

Used the black available from the Nissan dealership "Super Black", got it from the Nissan March since is cheaper than the GTR.

I got a really nice black from the premium mclaren F1, got it for my expert card. I dont remember what its called.

Does anyone know which "black" chip is the blackest? They sort differently, but where does the blackest of those come from?

It's called "Jet Black". I've always assumed that it's one of the darkest Black paint chips available.

I'm looking for a special chip just named "black". I colored a car with it without thinking much. Only afterwards I recognized how awesome that black is. There is hardly a reflection on the bonnet in the preview picture. It seems to eat the light.
If sorted for color tone (descending) it should be below "antracite" and "black mica" which most of the other "blacks" aren't.

blacker than the blackest black… times infinity!

Would about a color that would make you nearly invisible at night on a standard car?
