I have recently discovered it. I like it! Anybody else at least heard of it?
Or RSC acting in the case of the late Gareth Thomas (Blake).I remember watching it back in the day, because it was sci-fi, but I was probably too young to appreciate what it was really about. I’ve seen bits of it more recently but it just comes across as typical at the time low budget British TV. Shoddy sets with RADA acting.
My favourite is City at the Edge of the World but I am biased in this respect because I like Vila the most.My favourite episode is the one on the gambling planet with Deep Roy.
Confirmed.I have recently discovered it. I like it! Anybody else at least heard of it?
Oh how I miss Forces TV. It was the perfect channel for my taste in TV, showing a lot of great stuff from 70s/80s that noone else will broadcast. And noone else seems to be interested in filling that niche - although clearly not a massive audience, the viewers of Forces TV seemed to be a loyal one. Occasional glimpses of the 80s such as ITV4 showing the original Magnum, but not much else since it's closure.I discovered it through the now-sadly off-air Forces TV and quickly fell in love with it. I have since acquired the full series on DVD and watched the whole thing! I don't think they should have bothered with a Series 4 in hindsight now that I have seen it for myself.
I miss Forces TV too. I was just really getting into some of the other old series it was showing besides Blake's 7 when it went off the air.Confirmed.
