BMW 318ti & Ford Escort RS Cosworth

What are the differences between these cars? They both seem to look like twins depending on camera angles. Is Ford related to BMW in some way?

BMW 318ti:

Ford Cosworth RS:

They seem almost identical in shape and rear taillights.

One is a base level 3 series hatchback and the other one is a homologation model for a wrc car based of a normal escort hatchback.

Apart from that, no they have no relation whatsoever.

Alright fine I got a little out of hand. I know I have anger issues, and I'm known for my mood swings. The problem is everytime I try going on google, it says error running scripts on this site. I was just a little curious. No one wants someone coming out of the blue saying your username, location, (which is New York City BTW.) and your thread is wierd. I can understand that some people think my avatars are weird, but I have an obsession with Turbo Diesels. I can't resist the roar of a CNG Turbo Diesel engine. I usually get ticked off of say, someone calling me a scammer, So I get ticked off of just about anything.

EDIT: I just realized that you was just stating your own opinion M5Power. Sorry for my ignorance. I hope I don't get banned for this.

The problem is everytime I try going on google, it says error running scripts on this site.

I think I've gotten that error before. Try adding index.html at the end of the URL:

http://www.google.com/index.html

Eventually you may get an error from that, at which point you could try removing the index.html. I myself am forced to switch between google.com/ and google.com/index.html once every blue moon. I have no idea why.
