I can't seem to get this car to stop pushing wide regardless of settings. I've tried the tunes from JG's tune shop and messed with the settings myself with varying levels of success but the issue ultimately persists. It happens both offline and online.

I've run out of ideas regarding this and ready to put the reason down as a platform issue, But I guess there's little harm in asking for a little help. Anyone up for it?

I'll list the specs of the car in question:

BMW Concept 1 Series tii '07 - 305HP, 1358KG, 470PP

Racing Hard Tyres, Power Level: 88.7%

Parts Fitted
------------
Weight Reduction Stage 1
Window Weight Reduction
Titanium Racing Exhaust
Fully Customisable Transmission
Twin Plate Clutch
Semi-Racing Flywheel
Fully Customisable LSD
Fully Customisable Suspension

Any help or insight you can give is greatly appreciated.

I'd laugh, if I wasn't crying into my morning coffee. Doc Slump and I have both submitted this car for a recent SHOOTOUT. I won't make you read the entire thread, but neither of us were happy with the car. You're welcome to crib from both cars and see if you can lash something up useable. You're running at a far lower PP, so you might have some luck...

What an interesting car.

How you can get so much understeer from a FR car is quite remarkable.

Anyway, I have a tune for you. I tuned the car on Grand Valley, 'The Ring', Autumn Ring and Autumn Ring mini.

Essentially I can give you as much oversteer on the car as you want (within reason), but at some point we are going to lose something else.
This tune still maintains a good front end bite and all round grip.
If this is something like what you want, then I am happy to alter it for you. Just ask :)
As for the gearing, sorry I am trying to learn how to do that myself. I altered the top speed to suit the track, and that's all.

-13 Ride Height -3
7.6 Spring 14.7
4 Extension 7
3 Compression 5
3 Anti Roll Bars 6

1.0 Camber 0.5
-0.10 Toe angle 0.20

Hope it helps.

Take the amount of understeer and oversteer of your car ... and then reverse it. That's how I'd like it.

I'm actually quite interested…if only by all the horror stories I've heard about this thing. So expect some news/suggestions from me as well, in the coming…hours (?) I guess.

Edit: Uhh…what the hell are you guys talking about? I just tested it quite quickly on Cape Ring, nothing all that hideous has happened. It drives a bit…lumpy, but that's about it.

Double Edit: Tried it online on Trial Mountain…nothing much to report either…I'm starting to think that I might have got the only Tii that works.

I run this car at 500PP, I personally liked it, but it was heavy compared to other contenders. With RH tires I would try - front and rear toe. -0.04 to -0.12 I find works well. Most of my beemers run -0.12 -0.12 and camber 1.0 on front to 0.2 to 0.4 for rear.

I got it turning quite nicely. jack it up loosen everything up and work your way up tighter and tighter. You will be able to feel the car much easier when it is loose. if it is not carving at all when it is loose then you know your setup is way off. Im away from the ps right now ill post a setup later on. my girls birthday so not sure if it will be today. btw i use sport hard and it still carves.

Thanks a ton for the help guys. I'll give Skuh's tune a try and take a look at the shootout thread there.

Eh, just another bit of help since, well, every little bit helps.

LSD
Initial- 7
Accel- 25
Braking- 5

Try that for the diff. I ran something similar on the car I tested just now.

Never!!!

Share the car or I won't believe you. The car is hopeless.

I've not even done anything to it when I posted that! Out the box at the given stats, then I started fooling around with it. It doesn't like to slide, but doesn't push either. :P
