BMW E46 rolling shots

Well I've always wanted to take some pics of my car on the move, today I just decided to give it ago and just see what me and a Nikon D70s can do. I went out at 1:30 PM (damn HOT I tell you ) clear sky = alot of light , didn't know the what would the outcome be given that it was at noon but I played with camera settings and tested for a bit .... and this what I manged

going to try and take pics at sunrise and see how those come out , its a learning process and there is no better why to learn than to try

Not bad! Should have tried for more angles, though. But then, it's really hard shooting out of a moving car.

Plus I have to control to people driving, one driving my car and the other is driving the car I'm in .... and one more thing it was 45+ C lol bloody hot I tell you

Ask the guy to take a pic with the camera out the window, and to extend their arm as low as they can. Then get next to the car, and pass the photographer... if done correctly, the pics come out awesomely.

Looks sexy, love the angel eyes. You should have dropped the top and I find pictures of cars look better in the late afternoon/evening if you wanna have a go at that.

I am the photographer lol my cousin is driving my car , so from your descreption I would be taking a random shot by extending my arm downwards ? as I cant see through the camera(forgot what they call it ?)

Yup I might have a go at an early morning and another late afternoon to see how it goes , the top down is a no go really just too hot and too humid maybe in 2 months time when the weather starts to get cooler and I start dropping the top all the time

Well, you could see through the camera, but it would be the last picture you take, ever.

Just don't be wary of taking pics without looking through the camera first... you know, take the camera out the window and put it in front (or behind) the car and shoot a couple of pics... the results are almost always very interesting. Good luck!
