I have no idea why I said 345 hp in my previous post. Sorry about that. The STI is 497hp and 1219kg. It's max torque is 465ft-lb/5400rpm. I think it's really the difference in torque since the max hp of the M3 is 547hp at 1342kg weight.

Well I guess its the torque...but it would be both torque and horsepower if your running my setup. I don't ever use this M3 with more than 450hp...

Many people such as I myself can as well, but this thread is not about that! So please be nice. If your willing to try out the setup and leave a comment great, but don't rag on someone else.

As long as people are able to enjoy the setup or they are able to improve their time they shouldn't be laughed at. This is exactly what this tune is for, an easy to handle M3 to improve times.

Sorry for the rant but i really think that was uncalled for, you know the track better than him great, but don't belittle people help them instead.

Oh well its unfortunate that some people forget they were noobs once in their lives...unless somebody here was able to get their best laptime on their first try......anyone? Just as i thought, thanks for the set up chief i appreciate it

I am using a controller as well but I have my buttons setup up differently. I use R2 for gas and L2 for brake. It gives more precision, and allows me to modulate the throttle better.

Good job on the two second improvement btw.

ftw! Best controller setup. And R1 upshift, L1 downshift :)

Love the tune just did a 7:24 with the Chrome Line M3 (so a bit more power then your Setup) Car drives nice and smooth no problems. Only problem I have is that I can't hear my gear changes the car is so quiet. So I red lined a lot xD

Close to mine, I have L1 to upshift and R2 to down shift.

Yes I have that problem too but a race exhaust sort of fixes that. Thanks for trying it out, glad you enjoy the tune.

I did after, but not initially. Go ahead and do it. It makes the car tighter and more sure footed, I didnt notice any negatives after it was added.

Okay so I tried out the tune and for some reason I feel that I can control the car better stock tuned. I checked the settings and I did everything correct. I feel like something is off....this is the same m3 from the new car dealership correct?

Yep it's the same car, but if you cant tell me what it is about the car that your having trouble with I cant help you. Your going to have to give me something to work with. Is the car oversteering or understeering, are able to accelerate out of corners smoothly, what tires are you running, how much hp, and what track?

I was up pretty late when I messed with the settings and this morning I realized I had the camber toe off, so I apologize for my previous post.

The car is bone stock expect for full suspension with racing softs. I tried your tune again on Nurburgring, got a 7:24 with a few mistakes done. The tune is good expect I feel it's still a little too tight, certain turns I make the car wants to go straight. I'm not too sure if that's oversteer or understeer.

I guess I like my suspension a little loose, is there anyway to loosing it up? Hopefully you get what i'm saying, I wish I knew the exact tune language. >.<

No worries at all glad you got things sorted out with the tune. As for the tightness that is just my personal preference because I hate oversteer, what you call "looseness".:)

Anyway what you want to do make it suit your driving style is one of these three things.

1)If the car understeers when accelerating out of a corner...Go to the limited slip differential settings and lower the acceleration slider until your satisfied.

2)If the car understeers when turning through low to mid speed corners raise the rear anti roll bar setting until your satisfied.

3)If the car understeers in high speed corners raise the rear spring rate until your satisfied. *The rear dampers will need to be adjusted accordingly in the same way*

Or if want a quick fix but at the risk of the car being unpredictable at times you can set the rear toe to -0.50.

I'm still waiting on his tune myself but I don't think he has it very high on his priorities.

I have tune my M3 CSL. To be honest i tuned it on my own on r246. i find this car smooth. will post the tune later when i get back home. and i think my tune still has got room for improvement.

Enjoy racing and Thank you.

BTW, Tharain has got real good tunes but i dont see him posting any BMW on his thread. I am also waiting for a tune from him.

To get 404HP i only use
titanium racing exhaust and racing air filter.
Thats it for the car.
