Hello. I am promoting a club that I created - "BMW Enthusiasts Club" (Club ID: 1007924). It is for people who likes to drive BMW cars, and I hope to have regular events where people can drive/race/meet.

https://www.gran-turismo.com/us/gt6/user/#!/clubid/1007924/

I have no experience organizing and hosting these kind of events, so please bear with me if you want to join - it might take me a bit longer to get things right, and in a meanwhile I may make stupid mistakes.

I hope some of you are interested. If you have any suggestions, feel free to reply here :-)

Thanks for reading

Hey all,

I just hosted the first club event. I have a question that hopefully someone can answer:

Is it possible to change tracks during an event? I tried to do this tonight but all settings were locked, so I couldn't change the track (or any of the regulations).

How do I (if at all possible) set an event with multiple tracks? It would be nice to know for the next club event.

Thanks

In "Community mode" you can't change anything unfortunately. Like you said all of the settings are locked.

If you want to be able to change between tracks and alter settings like laps, tyres, PP etcetera you need to host it
the "old way" from the regular Online Lobby and not from within the Community section.

Edit;
If you want to stay in the Community section you need to close the room each time you want to change track,
and open up a new one.

Thanks JockeP22.

So I guess I have to kick everyone out first, then change the event and recreate the room. Slightly annoying, but doable.

New event is scheduled!

1 Series Race Night

BMW-Concept-1-Series-tii-01s.jpg

When: Wednesday December 3rd @ 21:00 EST
Course: Suzuka 2014 - 5 lap race
Car restrictions: MAX 500PP / SS tires / Weak Penalty / Light damage / No fuel/tire wear

As the title says, it should be only BMW 1 series. So:

BMW 120i '04
BMW 135i Coupé '07
BMW Concept 1 Series tii '07

See the event page:

Hope to see you there!

Actually, that's partially incorrect. You're right that settings are locked, but that's only when you create an 'event'. If you just create a 'club lobby' you can change the room settings.
