BMW's fabric skinned shape shifting sports car... as if that sentence didn't already sound cool.
It was a technical exercise to see if Spandex could be used as an automotive body. It's was water proof, damage resistant, didn't shrink or warp and could take all manner of weather and temperatures. The lights opened like eyelids and the Lamborghini style doors would crease as they lifted.
The most amazing thing was a shape of the car was held by aluminium wire ribbing under the skin, motors could move the wires basically meaning the car could dynamically change shape!
Obviously the benefits were that it was seriously lightweight, easy to customise with a new skin and the car could look however you wanted by adjusting the shape.
Needs to be in GT because it's a car made of fabric which is pretty special in auto history and it deserves a place with all the other ground breaking cars in the game.
