Hi priano i just tried your tune and thought you might like some feedback.
Great car the gtr (my fav version of m3) .
I wondered which track you tuned this for or if it was a kind of multi purpose tune . I tried it on nordschliefe and it worked very well .The car felt much more taught and changed direction very easily , also very stable . Turns in eagerly and no excessive oversteer - always quite manageable .
I was using race med tyres standard tune lapped 6.43.xxx and with your tune 6.39.xxx .+ theres more time to be gained by better driver than me !
not a huge difference but the car felt more comfortable tuned to your specs.
I notice you left the lsd unchanged ... did you not try to tune ? or was it best left this way?
Also your transmission settings do not apply numerically .( or am i being thick!)
Overall very nice job done . I very much enjoyed the combination of tune/track/car .

thanks for the good tune.
just as feedback; i would decrease the vMax to about 290-310 maybe pair this with TCS 1 for Monaco or similar tracks but makes the Car a bit "happyer" :)

You're welcome my friend. It's allways good to adapt the transmisson to the track. But don't forget that when you put a new "max speed" you need to do again the set of each speed one by one That's why i prefer to play with the final speed, it will not modify the gears , just make shorter or longer the gear box. And after that a quick fine tuning is welcome.
In GT4 it was better, there was an option of several memories of settings for the same car.

Sorry for my english, i hope my answer was clear, see you on tracks Thaddaeus.

Hi priaiano i have just been trying your nords. tune . I found the car rides the kerbs and bumps much smoother but is not quite so keen on initial turn in .
I tried a few times to beat your 6.32 but no luck .... i will have to keep trying.
Although i was able to go faster in some sections ( 1st part of track and wipperman etc... mainly because i could take alot more kerb) overall i messed it up through other areas ( braking/turning in a fraction too late ) .
I like high speed stability of 1st tune and the ride/compliance of 2nd tune .
I think i will try setting susp inbetween your settings and see how i get on .
Thanks for your help ( i am quite new to tuning + have generally driven cars stock ) ;-)

You're right tonybarbados the first set is the best and it's dificult to do faster. When i 've check my car today ,i have see that my tires were R3 , that explain the 6.32. I can't repeat this time in R3, i've try 5 times and nothing . My best today was 6.34"960... Magic lap yesterday ,dificult for me to be faster . Both settings have their advantages.
Se you ,and thank you for the feed back.

Hi i have been trying to set your gear ratio`s but cannot whats the secret ,talk me through it because what ever way i try it can`t be done ?????:ouch:

Hi , yes sometimes it differ a little ,depending of the parts you've installed on your car. My is fully tuned with max power.
But it's not a problem. Don't take care of the gear ratios numbers and do like this

1- Select default

2- Select top speed at 340 km/h = 211,3 mph

3- Spread the gears one by one like showed on the picture (the one for 6 gears of course)

First gear totally left / 6-gear totally right of setting panel / spread the 2-3-4-5 like you see also.

It 'll give a top speed (above on the right) of 321 km/h = 199,5 mph

4-adapt with final gear to each track :

-increase final gear to diminue the max speed.
-decrease final gear to augment the max speed.

This work for any gearboxes any car.

Have a good day.

your gearing just doesnt add up ????????????????????////

Hi, depending of the engine tune you have , it will give a differrents range of ratios numbers available. For example BMW GTR No engine / engine 1 / engine 2 / engine 3. It give this settings.

NO ENGINE:

ENGINE 1:

ENGINE 2:

ENGINE 3:

You can follow my method https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showthread.php?p=5420568#post5420568 This is exactly the same i do on 90% of my cars. It work very well.
Have a good night.
