As far as I can tell, the only difference between the two BMW M4s that we received in Dream Pack #2 is the exhaust. Yet, for some reason, Kunos didn't update the listed power/torque data on the Akrapovic edition M4. According to the official Akrapovic website, their BMW M4 exhaust adds about 5 HP peak and has a max gain of 7.2 HP @ 4400 RPM. Torque addition is only about 1 lb-ft, but +12.8 lb-ft @ 2350 RPM. So, it's providing better torque in the low RPM range.

Has anyone noticed anything else different about the Akrapovic edition besides the livery choices?

I drove both today, comparing the two but I really could not tell if there was a 5 bhp difference... With 425 already it is not easy to feel 5 more... Weight wise it feels identical and again torque wise it does... Which confuses me...

Just took both cars under identical conditions and setups (Semi's with 22psi, 15L of Fuel, -2/-1.5 Camber) onto the track I'm able to drive the most consistent (Nordschleife Tourist, Green Grip setting, no TCS and SCS, 26°C) and was able to replicate two near-perfect laps. The Akrapovic equipped M4 even had a disadvantage as I did a little drift on the exit of Adenauer Forst.

The lap times were 7:34,293 for the standard M4 and a 7:28,613 for the Akrapovic M4. Again, both under the same conditions setup and trackwise and with a near identical lap.

I've personally find that the Akrapovic M4 has a little more punch in the mid and high range of it's RPM band, resulting in consistently quicker top speeds on the straight sections. I've also noticed that especially in the very technical bit from Hohe Acht to Pflanzgarten I've hit the rev limiter (especially in the Brünnchen section) more often than with the standard M4 leading me to believe that especially the torque curve is the more noteable part that has been increased, potentially even the power output and the stats aren't simply put in properly, but I do find it to be more grunty. :)
