but i think this: if they make the m5 with 10 cyl. and 500 hp.

BMW doesn't have any plans on an M7 so far.

I've had a bit of a snoop around - it would appear BMW are not doing an M7, but they will be doing a 760i with a high performance V12 in it.

Apparently the M Division are busy working on the next generation M5's V10 (yes, with a one and a zero). Ouch.

is it the official BMW site? if not, it's highly probable it's a fake, which in this case it is.

everyone has the same pic because, well... the picture is posted at one place, someone else steals it and someone else steals it again, and on and on. some people even go and modify the original picture to start some rumors. quite common, actually.

They talked up all sorts of virtual cars, from the M7 to the full range of 1-Series (including the M1, which BMW seems to actually be considering; just imagine -- a 2003 2002tii ). The bogosity meter goes off the scale on fan sites.

No, really. They're readying the 1-series line, and two years after that the "new" M1 is planned for release. At least, that's according to CAR from two months ago. In the editorials section, there was a sidebar on BMW's possible 1-Series lineup, with neat-looking silhouettes that most likely came from BMW themselves. As much as I'm not looking forward to a 118i, the M1 line drawing looked the business. I actually thought about it as a second car....
