Bob pits every lap at the ring

I started the 24 Hour Nurburgring today. Ever since the sun went down, Bob wants to pit every lap. I have my pit strategy strength level set to "off". The drivers have plenty of mental and physical strength anyway. I don't understand it. Also, not a drop of rain has fell the entire race. Has this happened to anyone else?

maybe he is scared of Vampires that sparkles in the sun? xD

other then that no idea, maybe tyre's are wrong for the track, cause that's what happened to me he wanted to change tyres.

Go to the Pit options on the right of the screen , are they set to a % if so turn them off completely. As everytime you pit and change driver if the drivers Mental/Physic strength is below the set % he will pit. Or if you are pitting but not applying the right tyres it will pit again until you do . i.e. fit rain tyres if it is raining. ( those are the reasons i have found as to why mine pitted every lap) There maybe other reasons too. You can cancel the pit stop through the command buttons also but you will have to do this every lap.

I think your Bobs suffer from Nyctohylophobia. Its the fear of forests at night. The Ring is a forested area. Best bet is to only do the 4 hour Nurburgring race since its in the daytime:dopey:

Seriously check your tire choices since you said you have the driver strength level pit option turned off and you have plenty of strength when they pit.

Does your tires run down pretty fast that they need changing in one lap? The Ring is hard on tires and if you have a heavy car you are racing around the Ring it could exacerbate the tire wear if you dont have the updated patch. I noticed a HUGE difference in tire wear when I updated the game to the latest patch a few days ago. I can now last many laps before the red appears. Now it hardly ever does unless I burnout. What car are you running? What tire? Did you patch? Hope you get the problem fixed.

He wants to change to the same tires he has on already. However, it has started raining after sunrise and he has put on rain tires. Bob is no longer pitting every lap. Also, the pit strength has been set to off as I stated in the original post.

I had to revisit this thread as I just saw this happen in mass to the "computer" drivers. Its weird. Once all there drivers get depleted stats or night set in in quite a few of my 24 hours Le Mans races the computer drivers start pitting on EVERYLAP. The first few times I ran this race this didnt happen.

Now for the last 2-3 times Ive done this race the computer "prototype" drivers starts pitting every lap and sometimes the lower class cars like the Viper GTSR too. It usually coincides with night time too thus why I remembered this thread. When they do this odd behavior I lap the prototypes by 18-20 laps and the lower class by 40+. Anyone else notice this? I guess the computer has pit on strength level turned on for its drivers. Which they didnt cause its not a race after that.

Possible glitch being the culprit here I guess.

They really should have done some serious play testing if it is indeed a glitch.

Must be a glitch when they pull in to take the rain tires off in a downpour and he leaves the pit and spins out all the way around the track on racing hard tires. Not fun at all.

my bob does this in like every race. i usually try and get a couple extra laps out of the hard tires and then send him out on some softer mediums for some better lap times. then i just have to cancel the pit stop EVERY single lap. what a retard.

I've seen this glitch too. Normally Bob always wants to pit when the tire choice in the pit strategy doesn't match what he wants. That's all fine and dandy, but there should be better communication:

"Hey Boss, let me have some intermediate tires?"

"I don't think so. Have you looked at the horizon? The drizzle right now is bound to turn into a heavy downpour halfway through your Nürburgring lap. I checked weather.com, so trust me and take the rain tires."

Seriously. When he does a lap and does fine with the tires I gave him, he should quit nagging and trying to pit over and over. I'm the boss and if I choose the wrong tires, ok. Then it's my fault. But if he can beat the competition with the tires I gave him and tire wear is within acceptable range, he should just follow my lead and stop trying to pit every lap.

Easy Problem, easy fix.

Bob will allway go to the it when he think he's got the wrong tires.

iv cou have heavy wets and he wants to have intermediats, or race tires. or the other way.

where you watching all the time? has there been rain some time? in wich tires are you? you know 24 nürnberg has weather-change ;)

I experienced that on the 9 hour Tsukuba, luckily enough i had just given him a x2010, so it wasn't a big deal, though i still lost positions, but i was already several hundred laps ahead. It clearly is a glitch, because my pit in strength where set to off, and the drivers still had strength left when they pitted and fuel and tyres. I just kept pressing the pit request off button, but on a lap that takes somewhere between 30 and 40 seconds, depending on traffic it is quite hard, also you have to press it before the last sector, so it was very frustrating.
