This morning before leaving for work, I set Bob up on the Indy 500 in the Minolta 88C-V. Watched the first few laps and he had about a quarter lap lead, so I left him to his devices. When I get home for lunch, he's on lap 194, pitting for new tires every lap, and real close to out of gas. On each remaining lap, he rear-ends at least 2 of the other cars and spins at least once. Total time 4:55:58, but he did have the best single lap time at 43 seconds.

So, what do I need to put in for pit strategy to make him not drool all over the steering wheel?

Pit at 10% strength and add a few extra Bob's to help him out 👍

Thats probably what they did. They will pit every lap not for tires, but because they are less than 10%.

i had it at 10%, but only 1 driver, so that musta been it.

dont set a strength stratagy, he will pit for fuel/tires when they are shot or the tank is almost empty without the strength being set. Also enter as many drivers as possible

If you have one driver don't set the pit strategy. I leave my Bob on 24H Le Mans. Get an X1, hit start, come back tomorrow. If you set him to come back to the pits when he runs out of strength, but there's nobody to replace him, he'll continue to have no strength, and he'll continue to pit endlessly.

Even if you have 4 drivers, if they are all tired, they will still pit every lap.

Bob raced for 24H straight and only pitted when he needed fuel/tires. Just don't set the pit strategy

If you don't set it, they won't pit from exhaustion. That leaves 5 Bobs online to race instead of 3 because I don't have to devote 3 Bobs to an endurance race.
