I'm on lap 16 on Monaco of the FGT championship. Bob overtook everyone else with ease, but I have been stuck in second place ever since lap 4!!! I seriously dont know what to tell Bob anymore!!! I DO NOT want to lose this race, so how did you guys do it? :ouch::mad::banghead:🤬

I have a good idea: press [quit race] and then never return to B-Spec EVER again.

It is far and away the worst, most irritating, poorly implemented and pathetic mode of any game I have ever seen in my 22 years of playing computer games.

I'm serious; I feel your frustration. I felt it myself briefly before boycotting the mode a couple of months ago.

I remember watching him doing the F1 race... he spun out twice, lead for 2 lap, went back down to last, then got back to second place on 9/10 lap, overtake first with 3 turns left.

Phew, that was exciting.....

You just have to know when to have him speed up and when to tell him to drive carefully.

There's more than 10 laps.

I just keep my bob at max pace the whole time...but he is lvl 38 so he can handle anything.

I did it at level 24, Bob kept hitting the inside wall at the chicane after the tunnel.
Retried at level 25.
What a difference (not sarcastic)!

Eventhough my Bobs have reached decent levels, they still annoy the living hell out of me.

They just can't overtake....they just can't. It's SOOO annoying to watch him slow down for no reason at all and then starts his streak of patheticness, failing over and over again trying to overtake.

Yep, when Bob was doing Indy 500 in the X1 he constantly just bumped into the back of them.

I agree with the poster above saying how B-Spec is poorly made. But, I marched on and kept watching Bob struggling to keep up with the 1st place AI. Then, a miracle happened.

Bob and the guy ahead of him were about to lap the last place loser, but around the last twisty turns of Monaco, the last placed F1 spun out! The guy ahead of me crashed head on with him and to my surprise Bob completely avoided it!! This all happened on lap 29.

Bob emerged victorious, and quite frankly it was an exciting race to watch. (The last bit at least.) On to the Nurburgring.

I used someones tune for this course (sorry too lazy to search on the forum for you now ;-)). It is somewhere in the B-spec part of this forum. On the straights you tell Bob to speed up and / or overtake. On parts where the circuit is narrow you tell him to slow down. Don't tell him to overtake or speed up on those parts (for example after the tunnel at the harbour) or he will definately hit the walls or boarding like some ****ing Rainman on cannabis. It can get really frustrating in B-spec and I know what you're talking about, but it really can be done. Hang in there, take a deep breath and stay away from railroad tracks and high buildings.

A level 10 Bob can do it. .(My Bob was only level 10) You only need to hold him in the red (hot) and press overtake if you are in the slipstream!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THAT CHAMPIONSHIP IS SO EASY! đź‘Ť

I have one particularly knuckleheaded Bob who always seemed to do something different from what I asked. I have 5 other Bobs who do pretty well, one of which is awesome.

Anyway, knuckleheaded Bob ducks behind another car when you tell him to pass, he gets worked up when he's not in traffic and you tell him to be steady, and he turns hot or cold unbelievably fast.

I was having trouble with this Bob in one of the 5-race championships last night, and finally, I decided to leave this Bob alone. Bob started passing successfully, didn't get too worked up, and ran down an Enzo at Monza in his 430 and passed the Enzo for the win. I spent three races telling Bob what to do, and Bob fought me every step of the way, losing the first three races. I left him alone for the last two, and Bob won the championship. I figured that if telling Bob what to do wasn't working, maybe I needed a more hands-off strategy with this Bob. I've found that when Bob is frustrating, it's because I'm doing something wrong, and I need to pay more attention.
