Bob is a complete tool. I'm on lap 37 of a 37 lap race and I look up to see...

Bob is pulling into the freakin' pits! This idiot pitted on the last lap! I swear to God if he were real, I would have beat the living sh&^ out of him, then kicked him in the ribs while he was laying on the ground for good measure. No other cars around him, no order from me, nothing! I got to sit there with the entire pit crew standing around doing nothing and watch five cars finish ahead of me when I was WAY in first place.

Did I mention it was on the second race of a championship series? I got a whole 40 points out of it.

I wanted to just shoot my TV, but I don't own a gun, so...

Bob is racing the FGT championship, and he has a full minute lead, and we are just half way of the race.

Bob is Awesome.

Welcome to PD's world of B-Spec lol. Happened to me on Like the Wind. Last lap with nice lead he pitted and I lost. It is a frustrating game at times. Seems PD is better at making frustrating AI than a polished game this time around.

Pit on lap 20 in each race. These aren't terribly hard, the fgt bspec.... If bob pits on his own that's really your fault. On the second race my bob has a one minute lead when I pit him at 20, never loses the lead and winds up lapping the entire field by race end. The other five races he drops to 6th or 7th pitting on 20 and easily regains 1st in a couple of laps with superior (fresh) tires. He never tries to pit on his own running unassisted the final 5-6 laps. He never tries to pit on his own period. On the nurburgring you need to have him pace down before the next to last turn the entire race to avoid spin outs. Other than that once he gets 1st in each race and cools down you need to pace up on straights to increase his lead. Avoid running him too hot especially at cote de azure to avoid wrecks. Pretty simple stuff. The idea of bspec is you manage the driver thru the race. Most races you can just stick him in an overpowered car and let him go. FGT and Nascar however require you to actually play bspec as it was intended to be played.

It just hasn't happened to you yet. I managed him all the way to that last lap and by the time that "Pit" yellow dot appeared and I then scrambled to cancel it it was too late. It happened real fast. He already decided to pit so he ignored my "Unpit" even though he was far enough away from pit entrance to just continue on. Trust me it has happened to a lot of people so its not always the players fault. He can throw a PIT at you when he isn't too far from Pit lane. Its happened to me on 9 hours of Tsukuba as well but fortunately it wasn't a crucial lap.

BTW it was a tire issue on "Like the Wind" that lead him to want to pit but it had more than enough thread on it to last the whole last lap and then some. As the "manager" he should have listened to me and not decided to pit on penultimate lap especially when he could have won with what he had left. Wish there was an option of "no pitting on last lap" to go along with "strength" pitting option.

As for the rest of your post this thread isn't about all that. I know how to run B-Spec. I'm at level 40 and since that incident I haven't lost a race with any of my Bobs.:)
