Bob vs bspec xp

Having only used one (ice cold) bob the xp, and the levelling for that matter, has gone up simultaniously for the bob and bspec. Until just recently that is. Bobby is in his mid 23's while bspec is limping behind in the early 22's.

I'm not sure when exactly this happend, but doesn't it seem impossible? Dit I get robbed by a partial save!? They couldn't have known I left my controller for what it was and went out for a beer, punishing me but rewarding bob! What's going on?!
