Bob's battery level getting lower and Grey?

Hi guys...I have a lv 40 and a couple of lv.38,39 bob's.. they all seem to be suffering with a grey chevron type area on the experiance, mood bars...and for the most part get an arse whopping from much less level bobs in the remote races...what is going on...what does it mean....please help....

Eventually your drivers will start to lose their skills the more you race them in B-Spec races (remote races don't seem to have this effect).
