This vehicle has a 2 door coupé type body with a front mounted engine powering the rear wheels.
Its 4 cylinder, overhead valve naturally aspirated engine has 2 valves per cylinder and a displacement of 0.7 litres. This unit produces power and torque figures of 29 bhp (29.4 PS/21.6 kW) at 5000 rpm and 47 Nm (34.7 lbft/4.8 kgm) at 3000 rpm respectively.
The power is transferred to the wheels via a 4 speed manual gearbox.
The Bond Bug 700E weighs a claimed 394 kg at the kerb.
Its maximum speed stated is 122 km/h or 76 mph.

Looks like a Reliant Robin GTi!

The Reliant Robin sold to Grandad's who only had motorbike licenses, whereas the Bond Bug sold to young men who only had motorbike licenses - in the UK three wheel cars do not require a car license - they can be ridden by anyone with a motorbike license.

The following picture of two young ladies in a Bond Bug is a very unlikely scenario except in the mind of the young men who bought these seventies style icons.

NB in the early seventies any self respecting young lady in the UK went for a guy with a Mini, a Hillman Imp or a Ford Anglia - not one of these plastic death traps!

A chap not far from where I live has two of these just sitting in his driveway, completely hollowed of their mechanicals and full of leaves. :D

How would handling corners be fun while running a fast lap? Yet, I wouldn't mind tumbling this three wheeled heathen around Nurburgring corners.

It might not be so bad, since this thing doesn't have much power.
