Although Sony has still not explained the seemingly bizarre last-minute delay of Gran Turismo 5‘s DLC in North America, they have now detailed the “special bonus” the region will receive when the content is eventually released next week on October 25th. From the company’s latest PlayStation Store Update:

We are confirming that the Gran Turismo 5 DLC update will be available to download on 10/25. We apologize for the delay in the content however as a gift to our eager fans we are offering free bonus content. For those who purchase the “Complete Pack” by November 7, we will throw in a unique GT Academy dynamic theme as well the Honda NSX GT500 Stealth Model. Just to be clear, both the dynamic theme and the car are free with purchase of the Complete Pack. Again we are sorry for the delay and hope that fans will enjoy all of the fantastic new content to come for GT5.

The Honda NSX GT500 Stealth Model was originally only available in the European GT5 Signature Edition, or to those who pre-ordered GT5 at Wal-Mart in the United States. Thanks to irmopars for the quick tip!

Well.. Alteast I always wanted a dynamic theme, but dont want the complete pack. Just want the tracks.
Also, I already have an NSX Stealth Model..

Great bonus for the North American's who didn't get the NSX. 👍 Maybe next time they delay the DLC, they'll let us Europeans have the Gamestop Camry or Edge Camaro as a special bonus.

I think it would have been better if they gave us like 10 cars each with their own livery and let us choose one of them. But it's fine. I'm just gonna get the tracks. What is the dynamic theme? Is it animated?

Don't really care much for dynamic themes, but the Stealth NSX should be great, wasn't expecting that. I would have preferred the SLS over the NSX but it is still better than nothing. I honestly was expecting to get some special suit that would be useless other than for style. Hopefully they can fix all the other problems with the dlc and it will be a great addition.

Soooo… this theme is bull****. I can imply that this was supposed to be the "free" prize for entering GT academy US that thy never gave to us. And EU got that Stealth style GT-R! Now you're making me pay for something I was told (as I'm implying this was the prize they had in mind) I would get for free. Not happy.

But… that NSX makes up for it. I just hope they don't give them all out to not insult Signature edition buyers/Preorderers.

Wait so the free stealth NSX is able to be shared like the other "DLC" cars like Chrome-Line and stealth cars? I still dont get how Kaz can say sharing DLC is not possible but other "DLC" is able.

Couple of questions....

1. So is this a good thing? The only stealth I ever used was the Mcleran and it wasnt too bad, but not a big deal to me. Is this NSX a good car?

2. Does anyone know what the Dynamic theme looks like?
