Car: 2007 Peugeot 207 GTi
Course: Cote d'Azur
Laps: 5
Total Time: 10:51
Average Lap: 2:10.2*
Credits: $150,000
Experience: 40,000

*The Average lap is the lap time you'd have to put down every lap to match the computer's total time listed.

Stock car, no oil change.

Beat it with +20 seconds advantage over the Mini, average lap time of 2:04.9

I keep over-prepping my cars for these races, so purposely held back a bit this time. I kept all mods to ECU tune, Sport Soft tires, and Stage 1 lightening. Even with such a "mild" tune (and being quite sloppy in the drive), I took first place early in Lap 3, and never looked back.

And of course, that same tune did NOTHING for me in the Schwimmwagen challenge! :)

May have to just start with no tune at all...

Stock car with CS tyres, no oil change. Took the lead at the start of the final lap. Another one where tyres need to be downgraded for a challenge.

I wonder how long before Amar adds a mandatory pit stop to his immaculate challenges ?

Had a 207 in my garage with 240 bhp and it flew round the track-it has a great little engine! An exceedingly easy win but i'd guess it would be more competitive in a stock one.

No, since I overtook the no 1 before the tunnel in lap 4 while I didn't drive smooth or so....
It's not a competitive race at all.

Re-tried, stock, no oil change + Comfort Hard and (obviously) all aids off. 2nd is really easy towards the end of lap 4 but I just could not catch the leader. So I did the oil change and then took the lead into the tunnel on the last lap.

I am sure some of you could maybe do this in the minimum configuration.

Have been waiting 5 weeks for a Cote D'Zur special event and so disappointed in the one they've given us.

As others have said the challenge is ridiculously easy, I won by 20 seconds driving semi-badly and with the car completely stock with no upgrades.

Hope they give us a supercar challenge on this track!

Tried with Comfort Hards too but ended 2nd with 7 sec behind :grumpy:

I have everything off for all my cars so yes I ran it with ABS off. I do have a Fanatec wheel and clubsport pedals though so the brack lock up is never an issue with me.

Thanks 👍

It's a challenge within the challenge for me...

Did this one (along with a pile of others) last night with my 207 that I had suped up for rallying... Suffice to saw I won by a long way

Good fun thrashing the little hot hatch round this course though - great track.

Won it stock in H-gate mode on G25(I usually use sequential) and it was kinda fun...normally I am just too slow in h-gate with left pedal...

Won it by 5.48 sec with bog stock car, and using my old gt4 driving force wheel for the first time in years. Took the leader exiting the chicane after the tunnel on the last lap

Easiest race since Sunday Cup, I drove so horribly bad with a full stop crash in the chicane when an overtakinig maneuver went bad. Had to reverse and still easily won it with my fugly bone stock Pug.

Immediately sold that hateful ****box afterwards.

i fully moded it and i kinda like it . :) BUT if i was allowed to put a spoiler and bodykit on it then it would of been even better

I would have otherwise NEVER bought this car, but I have to admit it's a fantastic little thing. Gives the VW GTI a run for it's money.

I reinforced the chassis and put on sports soft. A blast to drive.

Won by 27 sec in a stock 207 (incl. tires). Did 2:02/2:03 laps. Quite proud of my race there. :sly:

>Gasp!< Am I finally improving? I beat this one stock, passing the last car half way through the last lap. The ENTIRE race I was somewhat distracting and kept thinking, "Did I black out and put Racing Soft tires on this?" Nope! Fun race that boosted my confidence - and fun little car!
