I'm all for leaving these open so people can upgrade to a win as they desire, but this one is far too easy bone stock.

I used the 2000 Mercedes-Benz CLK Touring Car, totally untouched on hard tyres and needing an oil change. I was 10 seconds or more a lap quicker and won by 20 seconds.

The CLK was one of my faves in GT4, i was glad to pick it up again for this event, lovely car to drive

what car should i get?? Im not that rich.. which one will i be using more on the future (im lvl 24 but still on pro events in a-spec, i've done lots of seasonal events)

Audi A4 Touring Car
Mercedes-Benz CLK Touring Car
Audi TT-R Touring Car
Alfa 155 2.5 V6 Ti '93
BMW M3 GTR Race Car

took my crappy car audi an still one just took the short cut every lap an bet the game with 8 sec to go 2 mil easy pie

I want the 190e SO BAD!!! as I drive a 86' 2.3 16v myself. I have been watching the usedcar dealer since I started playing with no luck :(

I made the long-term investment in an Astra a while back, so this race was an easy 600K & Nardo Concept. :dopey:

Had the Audi Abt and won BIG TIME - hmmm... Gonna try it with the A4 Touring and BMW GTR aswell - just to compare times and results... Nice with 2 mill though

Eventhough gearing should changed i choose to drive booth cars completely standard. Changed oil on both though.
Audi Abt 1.31.004 (Seemed alot faster in general)
Audi A4 1.31.611 (Had alot of understeer)
BMW still to come

Anyone else?

I was doing 1:30.xxx and under in the CLK, completely standard with no oil change.

Did this one last night (at midnight) with my 2000 Vauxhall Astra Touring Car. I messed up a couple times but still had the lead by lap 6. Easy cruise for 2 Million credits.

Not sure what car to buy for this...

The 190E and the 155 would be the only ones I'd be interested in buying, but the odds of finding either one on time are low.

Also, I don't feel like spending 750.000Cr on the Lexus, since it's a prize car (much) latter on B-Spec...

Look up the UCD thread, TornadoAlley is compiling a spreadsheet of the UCD list, with a lot of help from others. Work out where you are on the list, and you'll see how many game days before the 190E or 155 come up for you.

I have both :)

I was about 18 seconds off in the stock Merc 190E 2.5-16 Evo. Maybe a couple of seconds/lap could be gained by a better driver, and some more with better gearing, I think it would be possible.

With the stock 155, I lowered the gearing to a max of 160 MPH, and won by 10 seconds......

Did it with the Lexus. 1st go I somehow selected rain tyres and was wondering why the car was loose, 2nd go put on the hards finshed 2nd by about 7 seconds but I had one run off that accounts for that. Should be winnable with more consistent driving in low 1.33s

Just did this in the CLK Touring car, completely stock didnt even change the oil. Surprisingly it only had 54 km on it so I couldnt pass that up. This car was just made for the Nordschleife but I found it has a lot of understeer in the tracks with wider turns

I did with a stock Alfa 155 with small changes in the gear ratio, springs and aero. Overtook no1 in lap 7 at the VeedolSchikane. And won by 14 seconds..

Well stock means in this case, with the hard tyres, and well changing the setup aint something strange on a race car. It did 1:30's afair.

The 155 is available in the Online Dealership now.

I redeemed a 1000 ticket around the exact same time these races were going live...got an Astra Touring Car, went to see what the new races were and was pleasantly surprised! I had the Lexus anyway, but it was still nice to get a new car to drive. Won it 2nd time easily, bone stock, although I did tinker with the aero settings.

I was doing 1:30.xxx and under in the CLK, completely standard with no oil change.

Also found the CLK quicker - though "heavier to drive" and with some oversteer - as i favor it. I believe the gearing has a lot to do with the better timing.

I used a BMW M3 GTR that you buy in the online dealership. It was very easy

Any lap times?

Lexus ISF Racing Concept is the way to go - cheaper than any other DTM car, more power, better turning angle, much faster. I won the race by lapping everyone in the field :D hahaha

Thanks for your help.

I actually have with me an old Fastas list and was about to check that out.

The 155 is available in the Online Dealership now.

Why do I always forget checking that...? 💡

Thanks 👍

What a retarded joke event this race is! The cars were not even racing, more like on a prosession round the track. I thought this would be a challenge, but it seems to be catering for the casuals not the hardcore fans.

COME ON PD, GIVE THE TRUE FANS SOME BONUS RACES TO GET OUR TEETH INTO!!! :grumpy:

Had a 155 DTM car which I used for this, but it already had the upgraded turbo and 511 bhp and it was a bit too easy, however there was no way I was buying a car just for the event, so that's the way it goes..... :(

That Alfa....love it, best standard car in the world....ever! :)

im not the best at remembering track layouts. but i used the alfa with an oil change and racing softs. won by 1.7 seconds lol

None of these have been races and I doubt we'll ever get any because the AI, even when they are supposed to be racing, suck. That's why they give us these staggered 'races', it's the only way to make the AI challenging, but as evidenced by this one it's still not.

and in reality they're just time trials with moving check points.

DO NOT buy any of the cars in the Online Dealership.

The IS F Racing Concept is 750,000 credits compared to the cheapest of the DTM's in the Online Dealership which are the best part of <1,000,000.
