Won it stock by ~ 2 sec. The car is a horrible POS....I don't understand how a car this underpowered have so much trouble putting down the turtles it got under the hood....had to restart many times for all the snap oversteer with no warning...

Eiger test showed how nasty this car is, this race just confirms it....I hope the real one is not this bad...

Aside from that, now that I got a 5.1 sound system the sound of the game is much more enjoyable...I like the cobble stone sound effect. Though now I wish there is more FFB in the wheel to feel the cobble stone...

I was lucky I had the car in my collection so the profit was okay. Certainly is a beautiful car and the handling is superb.

Is it just me or the only good things about this car is its appearance and engine sound (Ferrari V8)? I find its handling very bad!

I thought this one was fun. I tried it stock a couple times but just couldn't get my lap times down enough to win, so I threw on some Sports Mediums and cruised to victory by a few seconds.

I'm surprised at all the hate for the 8C both here and in other threads. A 450 HP sports car on hard tires is generally going to be a bit sloppy handling. I was expecting it to be a undriveable pile of junk but I was surprised; it braked well and I didn't think the drifting oversteer was any worse than most other rear wheel drive sports cars.

Car is fun to drive. Most people will find it twitchy but I enjoyed it. It's a bit like the Lotus Elise (but easier to handle) that you can induce just the slightest oversteer to help turn-in. 👍 I used to hate it while doing the Grand Tour event -- the brakes were garbage then but somehow they're okay in this event.

Probably because Jeremy Clarkson said it's crap.

The problem is that it is twitchy, but worse in that its twitchy when you are not expecting it, I can be in 4th coming out of that quick chicane down the back straight, feels like the car had hooked up, then all of a sudden it snaps into oversteer.... And its not progressive twitchy neither, so once you start sliding pass some point the car snaps over the other way...feels like it has a lot of caster.....and the brake is not great neither...

Won it stock on my second try, spun it in the first corner in the first attempt and still came up 3rd.

Was fun, though I m not the biggest fan of how the car handles. But its so goddamn beautiful... had it bought already, just for the looks so thanks for the cashback, PD!

Won the race stock, but this car handles like a turd! :yuck:

At least the 8C looks amazing, as opposed to the Tuscan in the other race, which has the horrible looks to match its driving dynamics.

stock, no oil change took lead on last lap at the end of the start straight, with DS3.
Still managed 5,***seconds i think.

Ok, just did it. Was pretty easy, got it on my first try (on sport hards) though mine does have a little more hp from mileage and oil changes. The car is great fun on Rome Circuit. The 8C is quite grippy even on hards and is easy to get a little controllable slide on sharper corners and high speed corners. Also squirms a little under braking. Car feels alive, like it is playing with me just as much as I'm playing with it. In Rome, the car simply feels like it was just made for every corner. Love it. 👍

Exactly! If you don't already have the car, financially speaking this set of SE's aren't even worth it.

At least the XP is good, and because you don´t need to tune the cars, always end up winning also some cr., not much but still something.
I like the seasonal events because is one way to drive some cars that normally wouldn´t, but they could be a bit more challenging, not like the early ones wich for some people were a pain in the a**, but also not like this.
I made every single one of them(except the VW) with bone stock cars not even oil with DS3, the only one that took me more tries was the TVR, but only 3(1st-4º, 2nd-2º, and 3rd-1º).
Hope that the next ones will be a bit more challenging.

If you can't win with this car you can't drive. If you have troubles at all, put some better tires on it, and then you'll win. No reason to upgrade it at all unless you want to use it for other races, or online.

I've raced with this car with just mid tires. It was all stock, but did had lots of fun overtaking the cars tho. ^^

came 2nd strait from the dealer.

give it another go.
Don't care if the monwy is worth it or not.
It's just great fun :D

Well I don't mind being the first one to admit to tuning the car, and all I can say is it handles beautifully, if it weren't for this seasonal I probably would never have known how much fun this car is.

Just about to attempt this now, gulp! Having seen how this thing misbehaves in the Grand Tour Im approaching with caution! Small payout, so no big mods then, just change the tyres to soft!

Hmm another overpriced piece of eye candy. Took it out as stock just changing the clutch to single plate and found it slow to accelerate and to change gear, came 8th, beaten by a ruddy R8 4.2 of all things!

Precisely.

It is so easy to earn credits in GT5 that if you are playing seasonal events just for credits alone then maybe you have the wrong game.

The biggest problem in the game is Aspec XP. I would have no problem if they dropped the credits award to 0cr per race, then maybe people would see the seasonal events for what they are; XP earners than can be a much (or little) fun as you want them to be by spending as little (or as much) on your car.

Couldn't really push this baby on Stock+Sport Hard (didn't provide as much grip in turns) came in 7sec behind 1st so I slapped on some Sport Mediums and won by 03.xxx secs

A lot of people put very high stock in the words of JC :)

I was expecting the car to be a right dogs dinner from the Top Gear piece but found it to be a very predictable handling car. You can tell it isn't set up to be like a Ferrari and achieve the fastest cornering possible but instead to be a pleasurable car to drive with the predictability of it's sliding and power oversteer. I found it feels like you're driving on a wet road but that makes it fun.

After restarting a couple of times and becoming second with 0.143 seconds gap I won this one. I used a stock car. I overtook the Ferrari in the last corner.

I already had the car bought and tuned to its 600+HP limit. To give the AIs some sort of a chance i took it out on comfort softs with aids except ABS on 1. Was 1st by the end of lap2 :/.

Hmmm I dont remember seeing it on Top Gear!

Straightforward, but sums up the race and the car in a nutshell.
