Nice race. Did it with a simple formula I've been following: buy car, do oil change, buy sport soft tires, remap computer, driving aids off but for ABS=1. Close race as leader was right on my tail at checkered.

I really think its funny when people say they did it with with a stock car.....with RACING SOFTS.

I also think its funny when people say "all aids off except ABS"

Racing softs =! stock
ABS =! all aids off

On a real 430 there is NO WAY to disable the ABS. So, how is driving with ABS not driving the stock car???

AND, the stock tires that come on a 430 Scud are almost a race tire anyways, so what's the big deal???

In race mode 5 in real life the ABS is off too.

remap computer?

Slapped on Sport Softs and won fairly easily (passing the Gallardo on the 4th lap). Pretty nice car to drive. I like it more than the 458.

I appear to have messed up on this challenge and am now in need of help.

I got some upgrades without trying to race stock and am now at 575BHP, 1242kg (1st lvl weight reduction). Also got height-adjustable sports kit suspension ad racing soft tires.
The car accelerates fast and takes corners nicely, but I have problems with the stability.
When I'm driving straight at high speed, the wheel (G27) starts rocking back and forth violently, making me lose control.

How can I make it more stable? Will aero parts help or did I ruin it by making it lighter?

With sports soft. Missed the braking point for Roggia on the first lap and cut. 4th lap dropped a wheel in the grass under braking and got it pointed straight but could only go straight through. Other than that I was pretty clean through the chicanes. I just maybe had all four wheels on the curbs a couple times. I made the pass for first under braking for Parabolica on the last lap.

For starters, turn the force feedback all the way down. At least with the DFGT, GT5 overdoes the force feedback and makes it seem like you're driving with a dented wheel at anything over 100 mph.

I don't enter these events for a challenge, i enter to collect coin and xp and get the hell out.

Used the 430 Scuderia stock bar Race Softs..... P1 by 26 seconds.

+1...After finishing a seasonal race I usually grumble under my breath "Now gimme the ******** money!":sly:

completely bone stock with stock tires (sports hard). Won easily.

These 'challenges' are a joke really.

If you cut Roggia and entry curve to Variante Ascari in every lap, bump the Ruf on the Rettiflo on the 1st lap and use other cars to trade paints through the race - than stock is possible.

However, for 100% clean race, you need to upgrade the engine to approx. 520HP.

Best lap was 2:00xxx with a car on sport hard tires + oil change and some break-in HP to about 513 or 518. I guess if I do some corner cutting I can break into the podium and recoup the money I spent on this car.

I call BS. How many times did you do that? Cut corners? Driving aids?

I did it without cutting corners, but added sport softs, put that body colored wing and front 'splitter' on, added some wheels. Oil Change. That's it. Lap times were in the high 1:50's (1:56-1:58).

I had a fully upgraded Scuderia with Racing softs from the ferrari event, I won easily.

Modded Scud won easily here....but if the easy money is there...I feel the easier the better. The Scud looks sweet in chrome though.

Ran this with aero upgrades (front and rear wing), stock engine/tune and racing hard tyres. Took lead at the start of the 4th lap. Not particually difficult in my opinion.

Always race with no TCS and ABS set to 1. No corner cutting, jumping chicanes or anything along those lines either.

Ah man what do you have to do to get anywhere with this ruddy car! Sports softs, tried it with hards on the front, soft on the rear, bit better but still end up in the cat litter. Then tried with soft all round and only got 7th! I hate ferraris and i hate monza. Especially monza, lol

Sport soft tires, racing air filter and full exhaust upgrade. Fudged a few chicanes but wasn't cutting them. Guests showed up to watch the superbowl on lap 2 and i managed to pass the leader on last turn of last lap with a bunch of people watching. Might have been able to do it w/o the exhaust but times werent looking good and i didn't bother to finish out the race. I was short on time and wanted it done so i went a little overboard with the exhaust so i wouldnt have to do the race again.

Do you think thats something worth bragging about? I did it driving BACKWARDS on comfort hards while feeding my cat.

everyones got different skill levels the challenges are fairly easy tbh.........but people coming on here talking about won easily with stock and sports hard.....big deal........theres always some geek better than you at the game..lol...play it how it suits you...if you want a challenge turn aids off and enjoy sliding about and still winning......if you want turn aids on...who cares............
