Anybody interested in Boosting? There are 3 master badges for winning a race at each track for each continent. Japan is easiest with just needing to win on 6 tracks but would like to do the whole lot if anyone wants to. Happy to return the favour as well.

Haven't had too much time to play. Only going through tier 2 atm, and haven't even started the online part yet. But sure, who wouldn't love some free badges. Think this is gonna be the game where I will aim for that platinum trophy :)

Not that I care if you boost, iwe done it plenty my self in other games. I wont do it in NFS shift as I will try to enjoy the game as much as posibel :-)

Anyway what I wanted to say, was that it seems to be easy to get these badges even without boosting, if you are a half decent driver.

Im very far from being a good driver. Most people here would smoke me for good in and online game, but the majority of random people out there have no idea how to drive.

I found it pretty easy to get wins, even driving on pro with aids off, I can uasely win with relatively easy over average Joe. Just stay a bit in the back until they all have clashed each other off the track, and then go on take the lead, more often than not they wont be able to catch you even with the rubberband in effect.

I think you only need to win 1 game on each track so it shouldent take long.

The problem with online is that I have done 20 races online so far. Now my win record is around 50/50 and besides about 2 races where I lost due to actually being slower, every other time I have lost has been due to punting. The whole precision/aggression system is pointless as anybody is a precision driver since it is so easy to get precision points.

Maybe I'll try online again in a few months but for the moment I'd rather just get all the trophies done.

It is just easier to get those race win achievements out of the way.

I found that different physics modes can be used by different racers when we're racing online.. that means even we're using Pro mode, others can use their preferred mode (casual, normal, or experienced) to race against us. And so sometimes other players can do lap times that are a lot faster than I can possibly do. Or I'm just too slow? :ouch:

Yeah the online functions are not very good.

I dont think you should care so much about online lap times, since there is also a lot of rubberband effect in the race games. You can not be sure, you or your oponents cars are driving in under the same conditions even if both use the same settings.

There is also another easy way to get online wins. That is to play time attack mode, with stock cars. Just let them get a litle ahead of you, and then when the road is clear, set a good lap.

Seems to be rather easy to get online wins using this method, even when driving on pro settings, most of the crashers cant beat your time even, if they use easy / assisted settings.

Cool. Didn't try online time attack yet, will check it out later. 👍
