Bought the game, but no manual/booklet/whatever...

Hello everyone, I'm only starting to the GT world. I've had a PS3 for only a few months, tried the GT Academy with the Dualshock, and since yesterday I have a DFGT which came with a copy of GT5 Pologue. I first thought it was the online store that was offering it, but after receiving the package seems that Logitech itself is doing that.

My problem is that the copy they offer is a Platinum version, and even the disc case is like those slim CD cases, not a regular DVD case size. And nothing more inside what so ever. So, what is normally included in a regular copy and how can I get it? Is there an official manual, track list, car list, or other documentation?

I remind you that it's a legal copy, so I'm not asking for any kind of piracy with this.

Best regards!

hi :) somewhere on the main menu screen, towards to right i think theres a copy of the manual on the disc

i'm not sure if its as comprehensive as the one in the packaging, but it's a start i suppose

i wouldnt be surprised if its printable nowadays

or with some googling, i expect theres a pdf of the manual on the net somewhere

good luck, and welcome to the world of GT :D 👍

oh, I guess I missed that... my bad.

Anyway, at the moment my TV is an old 28" CRT, so reading on it might be hard. I can hardly read the menus when I'm playing Uncharted 2.

I'll try and google it. Thank you!!

Does anybody actually read game manuals? It's like last resort time.

Much more useful information in places like this.

If you press R1 on the menu it will zoom, than use the left analog stick to move the screen around.

The booklet that comes with the game is practically unreadable anyway.
It's low contrast, fine print on a black background. Even with my reading glasses I could hardly make it out - but I could see enough to realize it was mostly hype about the game and very little technical or useful info.

I bought that very same pack last year, DFGT+GT5P.
The DFGT was in it's original normal box, and GT5P was like shoved in there.
It was a regular legal platinum cover, with manual and BRD with the game art in it.

I guess they ran out of platinum covers...

The manual in the case isn't even a manual. More like a couple of short words introducing GT and the game to the player, and a couple of stories from RL racers about how realistic it is (this is if I remember correctly, it's been a year since I last read it). The manual itself is in-game, 2nd option from the left I think.
