Boxter spirit help

[GT3 newbie]

Hi, I need help on the boxter spirit in professional mode. I used a CTR2 and its drives like a bloody brick and can't make a corner.

I used the Blitzen and came second, yet was 24 seconds behind the leader. Any advice which car to use or any tips ?
