Ever pulled off the impossible? Got a story about how you triumphed against all odds? Witnessed a miracle? Let's hear it...

Last night I was breaking in my new Cerbera LM, which was a joy. I love that car. I took it through the, umm... the five race GT series in Special Events, the IA one, the last one. I was racing against two NSX's a Supra and I can't remember the rest (or the specific editions).

I was doing great until Trial Mountain, which is historically one of my best tracks. I spun out like three times and was very far behind. I thought I was gonna loose the BIG loose: 6th place. But like a miracle I got my **** together and blew everyone's doors off in the last third of the last lap. I acually spontaneouslly laughed out loud. It was pretty cool. I watched the replay even though I had to wait until the end to see anything cool.

I entered the Historic race at Rome Full Course. The menu said max hp was 295, so I entered my BMW320ci (not historical, I know, but I only entered to see what car I'd get if I won).

Found out, as the camera focused in on my car, that the 295hp on the race list was a mistake, as there was a GT40 alongside me. After a racelong battle I beat him by 0.071 sec. Which was nice

i once pulled a 13 in the 400m with a prelude, then a 12.999 on the next try. no change in settings.

and i won one of the rallies with my Escort by .001

I had a great race using the generator today.:P I pulled out my Mugen Civic Type-R, and the course was Autumn Ring. I thought, piece of cake.:P Then I noticed what I'd be up against: Corvette Grand Sport, Viper RT/10, an R32 Skyline, and a Ruf BR2. It was pretty close, but in the end, those pieces of crap couldn't handle the sheer power of my Civic.:odd::D

Nothing too too great, but I thought it was cool.:D:P

Ah, many a close battle with my Neon ACR. Always fun driving your old car against the best (and winning!).

The other night I won the GT-All Stars event at Laguna Seca with a Venturi 400GT, that was something special; a virtually flawless race, hardly a corner taken wrong. Of course, it took 3 tries to win it, but if you beat a GT-One and the 600LM in the same race, you've earned that win, in my book.

Winning the GT500 series with my Trampio FTO, that's my biggest achievement, so far.

Seems as if Rome has its fair share of incidents. :D

I was doin the GT500 and arrived at Rome in my Sillouette. Led the first lap, until exiting the last corner. A dumbass supra spun me in to the pits, when i eventually popped out i was over 17 secs behind the gt-1. Took sum hairy drivin in the remaining laps to win by 0.340 secs. 😈

Lousy toyotas...

Well, Have you ever tried the GT500 event in the special event category. Try it in an Rx~7 A-spec LM-Edition. They have a 551 HP, and it was one of the hardesst races i'd ever done. I was really badly bullied by ( guess...) yeah, a GT-ONE, but in the end, I put my foot to the floor and left him. For all you out there who want a challenge, try it.

Hmmm? I once pulled off the GT500 race with an FTO, fully modified. It got a crap start every race, and by the time I caught the field, it was the last third of the last lap and I won from behind every time, catching first place on the main straight, and winning by less than 0.200 seconds every time.

It's actually possible to win (or lose by 0.000 sec), or so i've read before. But there's also the little matter of sometimes finishing 2nd (on the track) by a thousandth of a second or two, but the game shows you in the results as winning. I performed the stunt at the Japanese Nationals at Midfield against an Impreza, it had overtaken me right at the line, but I had appeared as winning...Go figure.

GT2 has a bug! That's got to be the first...heh heh.

I completed all the Endurance races. Three this weekend:

1. Rome (Drove: Calsonic GTR; Won: Altezza LM)

2. Laguna (is it just me or is the pit there a pain in the ass?)(Drove: GT One Race Car; Won: Imprezza Rally Car)

3. Trial mountain (Drove Elise Motorsport; Won: Denso Supra)

Hehe... new cars to drive. :D

I've only done the Seattle 100 mile one so far and even that's monotonous but at least the prize car's cool. How long is the all-nighter?
