do we realy need this technology of break by wire, i think that our cars work jsut fine as they are, but the best thing about this is that i will be able to sitch my VIGGEN over to non abs, that will ass some kick, let me tell you

I don't know about brake-by-wire, but I know drive-by-wire sucks! All new VW and Audi models come with drive-by-wire controlled by the main ECU. Some tuners have been able to improve the throttle response, but none have perfected it. In stock form you can go to full throttle quickly and let off without the tach needle moving. Every few thousand miles the throttle body has to be "aligned" using a diagnostic computer. If it's not done often enough the throttle might only open 80%. Can you imagine needing to do this with a brake system?
 :nervous:

i never heard of that problem before, is it just with the germans or what, what i heard teh pedal has teh least to do with teh braking, the ecu will control 4 seperate hydrolics on all four wheels, so they will be pumped sufficienty all teh time, but perhaps it will fault, wait a minute, of course it will
:D

Not just the germans, our durango has the same type of problem....

I don't think it has drive by wire... However, fly by wire is the only way to go!
