Look what I saw on the GT site.
Beneath "Suspension Kits" you see "Brake Kits"
Also coffeetime is back. It seems we go back to the awesome GT4! With better physics and graphics though. From what I've seen on the GT site, I can't conclude otherwise than It will be an awesome game without the GT5 mistakes!

But what are they, exactly? And how will they work? It's not "great news", since it doesn't mean anything. It's intriguing, though.

@Griffith500 : In GT5 you couldn't buy them anyway. Now it seems you could so I guess it will be like GT4 that you can buy brake kits to make the car brake better.

Does GT6 model fade? Because otherwise this isn't really great news because it means PD readded an upgrade that does nothing (as it did in GT4).

The description of race brakes:

Addition of carbon pads, cryo-treated slotted rotors, floating calipers, steel braided brake lines, high temp racing brake fluid, and brake ducts. If you don't do this your car will crash into the wall at 150 mph

What that tells me is that they may have introduced a rudimentary system of brake wear/fade... I do wonder if it'll be affected by not using the car for so long :P

How is going from no brake upgrades to brake upgrades not great news? They'll probably be done the same way they were in GT1-4. Maybe they'll implement brake fade but even if they don't, it's still an improvement.

They didn't actually do anything, though. Maximum braking power was always determined by tyre grip, and fade doesn't exist.

If that's changed, great. I'm open minded on this, not being down; we just need to know more. :)
