Bram Turismo's Gallery - Tournament Round 1 before/after -

Thanks speedster 👍

Honestly, I don't know when I'm going to do the next podcast, I don't know if anyone is still interested in it to be honest. And thanks on the Premium thing 👍 I gained it after a PS3 Launch Avatar contest. Touring Mars organized it and I was the lucky winner 👍 If you're interested in it, you can look it up in the Artistic Competition or you could take a look at Touring Mars' profile if you're interested how my entry came out 👍

Anyway;

Mostly some pictures where I played a little bit with the shutter speed. Quite straight forward, nothing too fancy. The scenery shot could be a whole lot better if PD did not create those barriers so ugly though :indiff:

Good stuff, very artistic.:) They all look very misterious and very cool. I like the last one the most though, it makes me wanna drive the 'stang all night:D

and +rep

Well done once again. This artistic update looks good!! Love the "Heaven" and the "Wall" shots, but all of them are quite good.
Just keep up doing your stuff...and if possible do more podcasts:)

I think they're quite good!

Are you entering any of them on the 'artistic' comp? Do they comply PMC rules?
I like 'The Wall' and Purpledisease' better.
And isn't it 'rumBle' as opposed to 'rumPle'?

About the barriers, there are some spots, even at the Nurb, where they are much better textured than the one you caught on that shot (awesome composition, btw).

Congrats on the Premium! I was going to enter that contest, but saw it much too late and didn't have the time to put it up. Great job, ultra!

Very nice work Ultra love the heaven and wall shots:tup: and congrats on premium!:D

Thanks for all the feedback guys! 👍

Ford Mustang GT @ New York
March 31st, 2007

I rather like this one, comparing this one with the previous 350Z picture, I'm happy how the smudging on this one turned out 👍 I've always wanted to do a shot from the top of a car but I never found a car which looked really good from up untill I found the Mustang, I'm also doing more white cars lately because it seems these are more easy to clean 👍 I still need lots of practice though, I easily exagorate lines :indiff:

Im very impressed by this shot Ultra!👍, i agree with you this is a good angle and really does suit this car!👍
The shot has great lighting and is very clean!👍 especially the side of it this shot has gives a great sensation of speed and power! Well done!:D

Cheers:D

Great work, nice cleaning, but dude, there are different tracks then New York.

Wow! This shot is really clean man. You definitly got it a lot better than the 350Z in your last update. The rims look just sweet in that size. I must say that the mustang never looked so good in a shot. Well done! 👍

"Simplicity": Good to see you go back to basics. I always like trying to take the best pictures I can in GT4, then only doing a few adjustments in PS makes them look superb. Some of my fav shots are like that. You have captured the race brilliantly, great depth to the shots with the blurring and very nice colours. Sometimes keeping it simple is the best way. Great work.

Nissan 350Z at New York: Back to NY ah. :D I am loving the colours, they look sweet in both versions but I gotta say that gradient map is stunning on that shot. I can see that the clean up is not up to your usual standards, but considering that you only used the smudge tool. The shot is really well done. Must of taken awhile. The blur is spot on as always. 👍

Randoms: These shots are very interesting and well done, the colours are amazing. Really vibrant and makes them stand out a lot. Good to see you trying something different, always good to keep it fresh and interesting.

Ford Mustang GT at New York: It's funny, I did a shot of a Mustang at NY awhile ago. Still haven't finished it but I did post up the unfinished shot in my gallery. The Mustangs goes well with NY. Anyway, looks as though you all smudge cleaning is better already. Awesome reflections and love the angle. The only thing I would like to see is a bit more colour, just looks to grey. Other than that, awesome shot. Keep it up UltraBram. 👍

Congratulations on winning the Avatar contest too, I got a months subscription which is sweet. And I think you should do another Podcast, they were really good and I am sure heaps of people liked them. Only if you want to of course. :D

Scary!! How much you've improved is amazing!!. Back in those GIMP days its impossible to believe you could be producing this standard of work you are now!! Much better then anything i could do. Well done Ultra! (Or Pink) ;)

those are quite the updates mate! not a big fan of the art pics, since i cant really understand them, but to me they look a lot like paintings. the mustang
on the other hand is very sexy! except for the jagged lines on the rear end. it's no big deal though. the nissan 350 is pretty good too, except the wheels look a bit weird. considering what you've used to clean it up i think it's spectacular. i'll be keeping an eye on your work more now that i have photoshop on board. hopefully learn more from you like i did back when i used to utilize gimp. keep up the good work mate!

Thanks for the feedback guys 👍

Personally I think I could do better easily because I'm currently not really paying attention to the smallest details but I'm going to a second shot of this Mustang, it looks awesome at NY 👍

Thanks Funkshen, really appreciated but update your gallery soon mate, I've been missing your pictures around here 👍

I have a few complaints about that shot.

#1 - It's a bit empty, oly the car and the tarmac and a fence.

#2 - The rear wing has some jaggies where you selected the area (or so it seems)

#3 - I wasn't the one who made it.

What impresses me the most is how fast you already improved your smudging skills, all the reflections are almost perfectly achieved, specially the ones on the back glass, which are really amazing.

I like the fact that the tail lights are almost the only colored part on the shot, and they fell on the centre of the frame. 👍

how about trying something completely different.. like, what is your best shot without using gimp or any other photo editing program?

Toyota Supra @ Super Speedway

I don't know what to think about it, it looks weird...

The third red supra in one week on this forum... what a coincidence ;)

Very nice shot ultra. Really clean! But for my taste the car is a little to comic like. Nevertheless great job on cleaning it up and blurring! 👍
And btw: your getting closer to 440 each update. You're one of the top editors around here.

- If you like have a look at my red supra as well. :)

Thats one hell of a shot!!! The quality is just brutal. This Ultrashot doing what he does best. Keep it up mate:tup:

The thing that might look weird is the reflection... I think there's too much difference between the color of the car and the reflexion or maybe the color change isn't smooth enough.

Very nice shot nonetheless 👍
You're definitly one of the best around here.

Please, have a look at my gallery and leave a comment if you with :)
Link in my sig :sly:

I think the shot itself is a bit plain but is very good looking, but the cleanup looks a bit cartoony across the car to me. Especially the back end near the rear lights.

I love the background though, the bright and colourful style really suits the car. 👍

Very cool Ultra, the clean-up does make the car look cartoonish, but thats ok. its a style that you seem to have taken on board, and i think it looks great! Very well done 👍
