(From Lister themselves) Brian Lister died yesterday at age 88.

In 1890, his father founded a company that made engines. Later, in the 50's he made his first sports car, the Lister-MG. He then made the BHL9 Chassis with the Lister-Bristol, and took it racing. Successes later, he was a brilliant engineer, but what stopped the company until the 80's was the death of his comapany racing driver and best friend, Archie Scott Brown. Numerous racing drivers including Sterling Moss have driven for the company, and had the cars to beat in its day.
Video interview. Brian started my favorite car company in existence and his legacy will live on, forever. Best known for his design of the Knobbly. R.I.P. 1926-2014 :(
