With the PPIHC taking place this weekend it had me thinking, given the fact that such a mode was included was in GT2, the technology much better(in terms of console power) do you believe PD should bring back PP in the future as a DLC, but this this time around give us the full 12.42 mile/156 turn run?

Pretty sure it's entirely paved over. Some environmental groups were saying the racers caused a huge amount of dust and stones to be deposited off the sides of the mountain.

I new it was paved over, but I didn't know that was why. I t was the end of an era, that's for sure.

I've always hated that transition from pavment to dirt or dirt to pavment, (way easier to deal with in real life than it ever was in Gran Turismo) but as long as its one way or the other I'm down with it.

It still takes skill to drive a car at top speed around turns, as close to the edge of the road as possible, with and without guard rails. But it's less of a challenge since its all grip now, no sliding around in the dust, dirt, and gravel.

It would be great, especially with a premium Escudo and some other Pikes Peak cars, like the Peugeot 208 T16.

well thats what the hand brake is for.
At least thats what I would normaly say anyway. if the hand brake in GT6 acts like the one in GT5, not so much

Well, lets hope the handbrake never turns into that of GTA IV.

"Ok. Lets do a 180 instead. That's cool."

Pikes Peak could quite easily be available in various forms from different eras. It can't exist as a dirt course in real life anymore, which if anything is all the more reason for there to be a dirt version in a video game, and all the stages in between that and fully paved too.

Wasn't there a rumour ages ago that it would be GT5 DLC?
