It's basically a satellite group of the BNP. I despair at the amount of far-right organisations that keep popping up in this country. Plus my dad is a UKIP supporter, and would be a BNP supporter if he thought they had a chance of getting into power, so I get an earful of this diatribe on a regular basis.

There are xenophobic zealots all over the world, Britain First is but a tiny fraction of those. This group seems quite similar to the frothier parts of the "Anti-Boat-People" lobby, though thankfully on a much smaller and less important scale. Well, at least they're not the Westboro Baptist Church, so they don't need to be hurled into the sun just yet.

I was only referring to the extremist protesters, the Pauline Hansons amongst us, not just regarding asylum seekers, but multiculturalism in general. I should have phrased myself better.

Half my Facebook friends were posting images from Britain First a couple of weeks ago, almost all of them having something to do with the military and foreign policy, not immigration, didn't take long before counter groups started popping up left, right and centre.
