Broken throttle?

I just went onto round 3 of GT Academy in the GT-R and I did my whole usual all assits off etc with the exception of ABS. Everytime I turned into a corner, the throttle seemed to be limited (TCS on 0) to about 10%. Is this the same for everyone and I have become insanely terrible or is it a glitch?

This happened to me once. Then I figured out that at one time when I was trying to learn to drift I had mapped the brake into the forward axis of the left joy stick. So when I used the joy stick to steer if I got a little forward into it I would be on the brake as well.
