Please help. I got a problem with lotus350's site.

I can't read the table over the weekly stats on this address:
http://www.fastb!tch.bravehost.com/Page4.html (replace ! with i, sorry but swear-filter won't permit me to post the exact address)
My browser only download the bluish-green background, but no letters and figures. When I look at the page in "show source" everything seems to be there. None of the other racers in the weeklies seems to experience the same problem.

The same problem also occurs with the "Podiums" and "Famine's OTHER stats".
I got no problems with "Registered Drivers List".

I'm using IE 5.0 with default settings.

Does any of you PC gurus have suggestions for solving this?

Thank you. :)

I have considered that. But I did it on a previous occasion, and it gave me major problems. I had to format in the end. My computer is getting pretty old.

So I find that a rather drastic solution, as I never had experienced problems with other sites (yeah right, running windows 98 ;) ).

It's odd. I would think it's something to do with the scripts that are on that page, which is littered with advertisements. Older browsers can have difficulty processing scripts that are inserted by the server.

If you think that downloading IE6 is a bit dramatic, then you could consider Mozilla Firefox, which is a little less drastic, and has fewer side effects.

But you are pretty much in the situation that Windows 98 is all but unsupported (and unsupportable). You might wish to consider upgrading the OS. Unless you have a machine that is less than a PIII, the advantages will far outweigh the disadvantages.

Thanks Giles.

It seems to be a plausible explanation, as I without problems can view Famines Stats posted in the weeklies forum. And I guess it's the exact same as the one Lotus is having on her site.

I was hoping somebody could point me in a direction, where I just had to check a box or two in my browser settings. I don't think I wanna go through all the update circus, just to be able to view one over commercialized site. The view source method ain't pretty, but it works for the time being.

Thanks again for helping me out. :)
