How did the driver get the car up on that rock?

Yellow!?! How about dark blue or something.

~LoudMusic

He transported the car, piece by piece, where he reassymbled it on top of the rock. Ever hear of people doing that with VW Bugs?

:) Dark blue is good to...

Didn't someone put together a car in their house and couldn't get it out?

Bugs ... yea there was a website devoted to that, I think. Lemme Google for a bit and I'll see what I can find.

They used to do that for practical jokes in highschools and universitys.

They would reassymble it on top of the school's roof...
:)

Here's that dark blue on a hot sunset. :)

Pako you ever think of getting your models into games? I'm pretty good at that (and have all the tools, like 3DSM and such) exept I cant model for poo

Actually, no. A friend gave me a Autocad model of the 911...I just added the coloring and placement of it...

This next pic however was complete done from scratch...

Oh really? Wow, so how does that work? Do you have to model and animate all the base actions? Do you just make a model frame character, add the skin, and let the game engine manipulate the model?

That sounds pretty cool, know of any good links for learning how to do that?

You got anymore of that?

How do you make such pics???
With which program?

I currently don't... I just got the program and am uploading the images as I learn how to use it.. :)

The program I'm using is Bryce 5 by Corel.

:)

The program supports animation as well, but I need to get more comfortable with still image rendering first, before I go into animation.

Depends on the game, I believe HalfLife and other 3dShooters you have to animate them, but others (like Ultima9, and other higher end 3d games) use their own fluid movement modules. In other words, add the bones, then the program manipulates them.

As for links, you need it specific for the game you want to learn to model for. Most companies hire their own modelers instead of contracting out however. But lots has happened.

Check out the 3D Maxed Out site I put above. Nothing really is on the site, but check out the message boards. Thats where I learned 3D Studio Max.

I don't, I just render the model...(add color and texture to the wire-frame)...

Since the crash today, I haven't been able to check the link, but I'm on my way now...

BTW - From what I've seen 3D Studio Max is a pain to move around in... :D

How so? The tabs can be a bit cumbersome, but other than that...

I don't have bryce 5, so I can't tell. Lightwave is another GREAT rendering program.

I don't know man, I'm an Icon kind of guy! I'm lost without my GUI... Gotta have the GUI...and 3Ds lacks in GUI's, atleast until I have a chance to work with it...

I've heard that lightwave is a great program!!! I've also heard the same thing about World Builder 3.0 and 3D Studio Max...

Hummm.... I have the tool bar to the right, but I don't have the horizontal tool bars on the top. Maybe it's just a UI setting, eh?
