i think it is as whilst i am doing the b-spec races i get the same bonus for the prize money and xp as i do in A-spec mode

Thanks for your answer. Not sure if you addressed my question completely however. Bspec drivers have 2 xp mechanics, level xp and career. Career is only affected by doing the offline events so far as I've researched and experienced in game.

I've set up one driver as offline only, in an effort to get his career xp bar maxed out. I've heard there is a trophy for this if achieved prior to the driver reaching level 40. The career xp bar is located below the stats on the driver page and significantly slower than the driver level bar.

So, my next question relating to this is, is there a way to view the numbers behind that bar and the numbers gained for completing races?

First post, I just finished a offline race in B-spec and the 200% icon showed up in the rewards screen after the race.

As for online b-spec, not sure.

You would have to put your offline bob in about 500 races to fill the career bar and get the air of experience trophy

Thanks. Research confirms what you advise. Currently gathering empirical evidence to that effect. 1 bob has never been online and has 231 races and career bar near halfway.

Now have over 260 offline races for this bob. Career bar just over halfway. Been running tsukuba under beginner's Sunday cup. 4.5 min +- with most cars, 3.5 min with red bull. I had already run this driver through all the bspec events except the 24hr races. Now the real grind begins to 500. Added benefit is this can be used to break in cars.
