Block on the striaghts once, then reset at the next corner :)

I would rather you kept with your same car.

I never got to select a car... unless your willing to allow my old Volvo back.

The weaving is only an issue on long straights where slipstream benefits the car behind . Your allowed one move in whatever direction you choose to defend your position .

The best way to defend in my opinion for example at ssr5 on the long straight i would start the straight on the extreme left and then make my defensive move going to the extreme right , then by the end of the straight id be moving over to the middle which is the racing line .

I believe that would be a legal defense

I recon those manovres, I did that all the time in S1, making sure I had the inside of the next corner so I would have the better defence :)

This is perfectly legal. Only 1 direction change on the straight to break the draft. Then you may change direction a further time to move to the racing line. However you may not move to the racing line if a car is beside you. Even if his bonnet is inline with your rear wheels.

The second move is a bit iffy. Last year in f1 they allowed it but after schumacher vs hamilton in monza, FIA disallowed the second move. If we get a lot of incidents then we will probably ban it too...

I've added Warnings and Penalty Points columns.... hopefully those stats are right. If I have it right, BosZ would net 3 points for another infraction?

You can take this as a press release:

I'll withdraw from the SC role to return to racing (that test race a few weeks ago.. Sweet dreams) in a Seat Ibiza (S3 car), even if I don't score points :) the action is enough for now :)
Alternative for that is taking a BMW if any is left

Cheers mate. Great work. Boz would get 3 points if he either overshoots or punts anyone off. However if he waits for the driver then he is forgiven. If he overtakes then he will get 3 points.

If you get points, does that clear your warnings and the warning count starts over?

Depends on SKD420 really, and if Furi is allowed to run a BMW team at HSR.

Yeah. If you get points then your warnings start over. So 1 warning, and on the second offence you get a further 3 points. Resulting in a race ban.

Just turn up in anything on the list (Focus, 330i, S3, Civic), won't be a problem

Even the VW Golf, that's on the list and is fairly rapid. If you're going to use a 147 use the GTA... it's a lot faster.

But as Rob says, Focus, 330i, S3, Civic are all good.

Are you gonna use the Seat all the time rally, or different S3 cars each week?

I think I'll stick to the Seat, first and foremost for the testings and secondly because this car feels good. I've actually succeeded in finding a FF car that doesn't go straight when you want it to turn :dunce:

Great, looking forward to racing with ya again. You need to do something about your connection mate. Try an ethernet cable...

That's the plan.. The problem is the router and the PS3 is in each their end of the house, so some cable is needed :)

Yeah I have the same problem. So I decides to just buy a 15m ethernet cable. Any shorter and I wouldnt have made it. Lucky guess. :P

The Seat is a great car i remember driving it in gt4 , i plan on doing some testing today , ill be on most of of this afternoon/evening

High 1:14's for me. The focus is good for a 1:13.5-8

Now I remember why I dont like racing here. Lack of corners.
