Thanks for the kind words lads. I dont know what was up with the track grip today. Car understeered almost as much as an FF.

Ok I've received 2 reports. Any other reports please remember to PM me or Geeky. Gonna have a looot of work to do this weskend.

There was a lot of dirty racing tonight. Stewards are going to be busy this weekend!

And the stewards will be on it VERY hard!

Driving standards slipped today.

killa earned the first double win of the season, and could actually have got a grand chelem today (both wins and fastest lap). 41 points would be very nice for you! :)

I agree (read first bit of my reply)

It would be nice :)

Shame about tonight rob, we were having a decent battle, and 2 focuses on the podium would have been great, but your got taken out by gedi69 (from what I saw, I will not jump to conclusions until a proper stewards rework of the replay is carried out)

yeh, what happened about Rob? But sounds like fun.

Sorry all I left so early, I have a family which thinks it's fun to annoy me while I'm racing every Friday 7-8
It's like Krusty the Clown smoking and slapping you in the face while you are racing on a knife :mad::mad::mad::mad:

I will look into race incidents, please PM me and the stewards that was here this race to investigate.

We've all been in that scenario

Race 1 - lap 1
Race 2 - lap 3/4

^ That's what to look at from my perspective, not sure what happened and I forgot to save the replays, sorry :indiff:

@geeky race 1 lap 2 or 3 (incident involving me and gedi69 ruined my race, and there was some lag/glitch in there, too. Although it maybe was no ones fault and a glitch/error within the game caused it, I would still like it to be looked into)

Much appreciated :)

Sorry for my mini-rant in the chatbox in the middle of race 2... I might have been higher than 10th if it wasn't for that
(although I was in the pits so I didn't think it'd have an effect)

Don't envy the stewards tonight but I'll look forward to the verdict because it's all a blur to me :)

From what I saw, me and rob where both fighting for the lead coming down the back straight, and gedi was in third. By the looks of it, he tried to outbreak us both to take p1. So me and Rob ( me in second, Rob leading) braked at pretty much the same time for turn 1, and gedi came rushing past me, skimming the right hand side of my car, and plowed into rob. They both collided with the tires at turn 1, and both went off track and had to rejoin. That was the last I saw, as I recovered and took the lead

So basically drivers' getting abit excited and Outbraking themselvs :sly:

Oh yes, I saw a car stuck in the gravel on my map.
I will look into it and hopefully find out what happened lap 1 as well :indiff:

Ok,
Race 1 lap 1 I will look into as I got rammed of and all of a sudden I was in the middle of the Dakar Rally looking for tarmac

I will defently look though :)

I know I outbraked myself into Turn 1 once in each race and smacked someone up the backside. I think Joe in R1 and skeng in R2. Yielded both times though and I don't think they lost position.

Btw who was it thinking about running the Mazda team next season? Haven't tested the Atenza yet but have seen it has similar pace to the focus.... Have you got space for a possible third driver??

There's going to be 8 cars next season so only space for two drivers per car. If you want to be a third driver it means you'll have to sit out until there's a free space.

me and bosz (if he'll rejoin next season) were planning to use the atenza.

I guess that's a no then..... Unless bosz quits, which is unlikely

Ah ok. Well no third drivers next season if we have a full grid. I think it's highly unlikely bosz will quit, it's just he's having a hard time with the vectra not surprisingly.....

@Geeky

The race 1, lap 1 incident was probably a freak accident, I was in the middle of the pack with cars all around. You were involved as I remember but I think it was a pileup effect between a couple of cars

The race 2, lap 3(?) incident looked completely avoidable (me, Speedster and Gedi)

When I saw rob hit the tyres on turn 1 I was way behind when I saw it.
As for rabbit on lap 1 he was not in my view so must have been lag.

When will the stewards have a verdict?

I think the stewards should take their time with this race , lots of incidents to look at . I had a few myself which i havent reported but im sure they will watch the replay and see the important stuff.

This is close spec racing there will be contact and accidents but we as drivers have to do our best to try and prevent it .

I was not so surprised to see how heavy some peoples foot were on the gas , couple occasions id let 2 or 3 cars go past me into the corner just to understeer and i get past them (up and under as they call it i think) on the exit .

Sometimes its about being patient and thinking about the long term , a race cant be won in one corner.

Is there anyone else that I pee'd off last night.

Great battle in race 1 KK I tried my hardest to fend you off but I always knew I'd come 2nd. That BMW is defo fast on straights :)

Yes well, we'll just have to be mature about this until a decision is made

The reverse championship grid doesn't exactly help things, for the record

I agree coz both races you have the fastest racers trying to move up the field.

I think thats the whole point though , for the faster drivers to make their way thru the field clean and professional . I actually made it to 1st in the 2nd race before getting punted off .

I dont think the reverse grid rule should be changed , maybe qualifying for the 1st race would be nice though.

We did that from May to July but it didn't always work perfectly

I was suggesting a grid in 'proper' championship order really. I understand the point of the reverse grid but it's a recipe for incidents

There are a whole bunch of reasons but especially I'll automatically drop races when I'll go out to gig (I'm also a musician)

Ok now a lot of incidents yesterday due to lag. Race 1 pit straight, I was side by side with gedi, But his car kept lagging. One second he was exactly beside me, the next his front wheels were only beside my rear wheels. This happened about 4-5 times. Now I know for a fact that everyone has a good connection. Never experienced lag in this series before. But I think that joe being host might have caused this. Joe's PS3 living in western USA has to communicate with all of our PS3's. Now thats a looong distance phone conversation that our consoles have to do. On the other hand, Geeky for host sounds more reasonable since he lives in UK thus ping tine is reduced. Communication is faster. I didnt wanna say this yesterday because I didnt want to hold everyone up and create confusion. Host connections arent shared, you can ask mel what happened in last weeks bankfin series.

So I ask drivers. Please only enter lounge after Geeky has entered.

As for the reverse grid, I really think it works and for me its the USP for this series. It would work if everyone just takes their time and understands that there are 10 laps or so to overtake, not just one corner. Drivers from the back cant expect to overtake everyone in a matter of laps. I probably overtook 4 before pit, after pit came out just behind rabbit who was fighting for the lead a believe. It makes for a more even championship. One person dominating in theory shouldnt happen.

Personally i have no problem with the recipe being used now and i didnt even have a problem with the incidents i was involved with yesterday , the 1st corner was a issue because of late braking an slipstream , im sure if this track is used in the next season the race will be cleaner . It also seemed like some of us didnt really know this track , some of the lines used for the corners were just not the typical lines you would use .

This makes sence and answers a few questions :)
