Great kart track, alot of history.

It's looks like a fun track, but I think real-world kart tracks should be a low priority goal for PD. They should focus more on bringing back some classics that were cut this generation and bring in new tracks that are well-known and have a significant amount of automotive history behind them.

I think this track should go in the game because we now have a lot Karts and very few appropriate tracks to use them on.

Buckmore Park was the training ground for Johnny Herbert, Jenson Button and Lewis Hamilton so it is without a doubt the most historically significant kart track in the UK. It is also part owned by John Surtees - the only man to have won the F1 world championship and the MotoGP world championship (back then it was called the 500cc GP World Championship).

Read about this track over 20 years ago & loved it at first sight.
They have, or at least had, 3 different layouts & did hire karts as well.

It's still very much in use seven days a week, evenings (by floodlights) and daytimes - even 24 hours a day sometimes for the endurance events.

Enjoy this short clip:

A 24 hour enduro in a go-kart sounds like fun.
I'm sure 24 hours later you would hardly be able to move & in desperate need of massage therapy.

They compete with a team of drivers - normally 6 to 10 per team. I've only done a small amount of karting and found it incredibly physical (much more than track driving with cars) - you are hot and out of breath after only a lap or two - the steering is very heavy. I would think your body would certainly know you had been in a race the next day!

I've done enduros as well as drive a friends kart in private practice on a physical track & you soon find out you had muscles you didn't know about.
The only way to do proper karting for an extended period, is to relax. Pay attention, drive as fast & as smoothly as possible but chill out.

It's the best fun you can have with your pants on :D
