Maybe if the devs read this forum we can get them to solve some small problems in this game. Guys, don't take this thread as a rant, the purpose is just to point out some things that need to be fixed.



Here's the ones I noticed so far:

Frame rate - Sometimes, in several tracks but mostly noticeable at Hockenheim, the image seems to freeze for a split second.

Graphics - In Misano, when I was doing the 550 Maranello Trophy, all the scenery turned to black when arriving at the hairpin.

Sound - Very often, at the beggining of a race, the engine sound either dissapears (we only hear the other cars), or remains constant, even if the car is accelerating. This solves itself by the time you brake for the first time.


And now a major bug, last night I had to ditch the F50 Trophy because of it:

When racing the 3rd race of it, in Canada (Gilles Vill. track), I was in the lead from the beggining (I had won the previous race) but, when I finished the lap with the time counter at 00:00, it didn't say FINAL LAP. I did 4 more laps like that, but the message FINAL LAP (and the white flag) never appeared. So, I just had to quit. :grumpy:
 
replay breaks down after 2 laps on hockenheim in F355 Challenge car in Quick Race Mode.

Set the laps to 3, started racing, finished 10th, then wathcing the replay it just showed me 2 laps instead of all 3. During the second lap the replay quit by crashing my racing car in to the wall. Was the end...

Really akward
 
Italian challenge season dont reset.
After a season is done, and starting a new season i still have the points from my previus season, so does the AI cars.
 
I guess it has been pointed out before, but friend of mine enlightned me yesterday with this one - which IS a bug:

You can't edit layers in LiveryShop if your wheel is connected. You have to disconnect it in order to edit layers.
 
Don't know if its a bug, but I cant figure out how to use an 'edited' livery in challenge championship.
I agree with hun200 - Frame and sound problem
 
i think the answer is above :P

disconnect the wheel and you van edit layers.

even if you use the controllere if the wheel is connected (will be fixed with patch)
 
I've done a hotlap in Spa with all aids off.
In leaderboards section my lap is listing there with all aids ON!
It's a shame :/
 
In cockpit view, the streeting wheel seem not following my wheel input, it turn slower than my wheel and seem enabled streeting AIDS, also the streeting wheel lock degree is too small, plz fix it !
 
The same thing happens in GT5P, I think the steering wheel animation is set to 200º, so if you have a 900º wheel (DFP, G25, DFGT) you'll always notice a difference between your wheel and the one shown on screen.

OT - That's one of the reasons I prefer - in every game - bumper or hood cam. I don't like to see two wheels and four hands when I'm driving.

This is supposed to be fixed in the Patch. Pretty much why no one is doing hotlaps atm, since it is bugged beyond belief.

I say: The patch is ready, is from Sony for control. Well, but when it is online?

Bug:

Changing between Standart and Dynamic CAMERA option, in OPTIONS -> GAME menu, you don´t get any change in the cockpit view: the camera moves with the two options.
 
shifting when in car, cannot see which gear I'm in :( , specially anoying with the F333 SP, tried to shift down before the hairpin at mont tremblant and there I was going reverse the other side ;)

*solved - count in your head which gear you are in :dopey: (thats quite a stupid solution :dunce: )

Yeah, I've had this replay bug as well, but it only seems to happen if I've had a crash with another car or a barrier during the race.

Another one:

When in cockpit view parts of the circuit will turn black and start flashing. The duration of this bug can vary from anywhere between ten and forty seconds. It happens on every circuit too.

I also referred to this in the opening post. But, so far, I only saw it happen in Misano, when I was doing the 550 Trophy. I don't know about duration, to me it was something that always happened in the same place of the track (when arriving at the hairpin after the long straight).

And the track wasn't affected, only the scenery.
 
hi all

i noticed a minor bug, when setting the speed to km/h the speedometer in the car changes to km/h while the arrow point mph,
so when driving the straight @ monze the arrow points 100 km/h but it should be 100mph (160km/h)
it just a minor bug but somewhat annoying, i have e maild eutechnyx about it and waiting for an email
 
Right bugs after the patch......

First up using the Logitec Drivingforce EX wheel with 180deg rotation there is no dead zone so the car weaves left and right down the straights at speed.

Next is what I think is a server bandwith issue which was allowing no more than 5 people in a race, looking at the lobys of races in progress there were between 3-5 people in each one so seemed not to be an isolated incident.

Improvements not bugs

Can we see what cars being used in the list of lobys
A logo to indicate who is speaking in lobys and races would bo good
Turning user names of online works great but you can only do this in the menu, any chance of assighning it to a key press?
The ability to "kick" players from a loby
Seeing a players conection strengh in a loby would be good
Private slots and friend invite system for the host
damage effects could be more evident, the modeling is good but it requires a huge amount of impacts to see say the windscreen smashed out and the bonet fallen off
Also on damage could it be possible to "disqualifie" people with a certain amount of car damage as a kind of "your car is no longer driveable" thus actualy having a goal not to crash as there would be negative consiquences rather than just a beat up looking car.

Don't know if it's a bug or not, but the gearing on the 333SP is all wrong... 170mph in 3rd gear!! Even on the fastest tracks I'm not using anything higher than 4th (just short of 200 mph on Homestead)

When someone hosts a room with 16 players set the comms drop in quality to point of not been able to understand anyone at all.

When the room is set as 8 players the comms are fine.
 
I don't see this particular bug being reported thus far...

I completed a 15 min race at Mugello (?) - the final race in the European Challenge, went to view the replay, and on pressing the button to "exit" the reply, the camera view went into bumper cam mode, but the replay refused to end. After the entire 15 min replay the car parked itself in the gravel, and still the replay refused to end. No way to exit no matter what buttons I pressed. Had to quit the game and redo the race.

This is post-patch.

- Assists cheat
- Replay some times don't work

New bugs:
- At the start of a race with the Race-Line OFF the track just goes black before the "GO" signal.

I have played the game off and online for quite quite few hours now and have not seen the track go black yet with the race line off.
Does this happen on all the tracks for you.
Also i have not had any problems with replays.
 
I was just racing the first race at Redwood Park in the American Challenge races. I was in first place coming onto the last lap. The timings of the cars behind and in front had been "blank" for a fair amount of the race. Part way round the last lap the game decides I am now in 2nd place -5:16.xxx behind the first placed car. Needless to say I Quit.
