Hypercar Holy Trinity (Professional League, Ferrari LaFerrari, McLaren P1 and Porsche 918 Spyder only)
Raging Bull Showdown (Professional League, Lamborghini vehicles only)

Features:

All the cars in the game have been added as rental cars in Arcade Mode as opposed to only eight cars. You will have to select by category or by manufacturer to choose out of all the available cars in the game. This will allow all players to try out anything in the game before buying or for experimenting and practicing with other cars. You can still use your garage cars however, with the incentive of custom cars with custom liveries and more advanced tuning. From this update and onwards, as well as with any other future cars, they will not only be added to the Dealerships, but also straight to Arcade Mode.

The game no longer needs to be online to save and all modes are open even when offline (except Sport, Lobby, Discover and Mileage Exchange). Social features and having access to online race tutorials and channels in Brand Central will also remain unavailable when offline.

Qualifying sessions in Arcade Mode (Custom Race only) and Lobby Mode are added, and work exactly in the same vein as that of Sport Mode races. However though you can adjust the time limit for qualifying.

An invite feature has been added to Lobby mode in order to invite any friends to your sessions.

April Content Update:
Aston Martin V8 Vantage GTE (Aston Martin Racing) '16
Aston Martin Vantage AMR (Aston Martin Racing) '18

Porsche 919 Hybrid (Porsche Team) '15
Porsche 919 Hybrid (Porsche Team) '17
Toyota GR Supra Racing Concept (Toyota Gazoo Racing) '18
Toyota TS040 Hybrid (Toyota Racing) '14

This update adds several GTE-spec Gr. 3 and Gr. 1 cars (in order to celebrate the return of the Le Mans circuit into Gran Turismo, and coinciding with Audi's Vision car being unveiled, in two flavors, the original in Gr. X and the Gr. 3 variant).

New tracks:

Le Mans Circuit de la Sarthe: Full Circuit, No Chicanes, Bugatti Circuit
Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca: Full Circuit

Features:

Custom offline championships have been added, in order to bring custom Arcade Mode races to the limit, provided that qualifying is now in the game. You can set as many rounds as you like with the same parameters as you would with a single custom race, with the added benefit of being able to choose your opponents' cars and rename them.

What's really hurting GT sport is lack of real world circuits. I wish they would do a real world circuit pack, Le man, Spa, Fuji, taskuba, Daytona road circuit, Red bull ring. Or surprise us add some new one's like Catalunya spain, V.I.R. race way, Sebring I can go on and on. As for cars go a JDM DLC pack, 240z, GTR kpgc110, For the love of god a first gen NSX a type R 92, or type S zero.

I have a new list of cars that need to be in GT Sport. Old and modern. Feast your eyes on these.

Sport Mode (FIA GT Manufacturers Cup) Changes

Added Bentley into the manufacturer roster for the Manufacturers Cup (i.e. you can now represent Bentley in the Manufacturers Cup through signing a contract with them in the Brand Central menu)

Scapes

"Silverstone" folder is now available at the Scapes home screen, alongside new scapes set in Silverstone and various others

Livery Editor (Decals)

Manufacturer Logo (i.e. manufacturer specific decals) folder is added, alongside the manufacturer logos themselves
New Patterns decals are added
Work Wheels decals are added (available in the Brand Logos P-Z folder)
User decal limit is raised to 2000 decals (this applies to both My Library and Collection tabs)

Museum

Ford and Bentley now have Museum sections on their respective Brand Central menus

Custom Races

You can now set up Multi-Class races
You can now add Qualifying to your custom race session
Gr.X cars can now be raced against other classes (they will be treated as faster than N1000 but slower than the other Group racing classes)

Custom Championships

Custom Championships are added to the Arcade section of the top menu
With this new feature, you can set up a multi-race championship, complete with options from the updated regular Custom Races and full control over the points system
Plus, you can set up a fully custom grid that you can select cars for them and rename their names (this feature is also available for regular Custom Races), and, you can share and upload your Custom Championship online for others to try out!

Arcade Mode (in general)

All cars can now be rented (as well as cars added from this point on) in all Arcade modes, which allows free test drives in their stock forms without having to buy them first. Garage cars will always be usable with added things like full spectrum of tuning and etc.

Others

Various bug fixes and improvements are made

Considering the claims by Kaz that GT Sport may have up to 500 cars, we can assume that many of these will (and have) been from previous games. Thus, here's a list I devised of cars that would go well with the GT Sport format based off of cars from GT5 and GT6 (in Italics). The group listing is based off of what I would think would work in terms of balance and accessibility.
This is more of a long-term DLC suggestion list/wishlist if anything:

To premiumise:

  • Nike ONE (GT4) - Group X (arguably the Genesis of the VGT vehicles, alongside the GTbyCitroen)

I made another list here, this time for standard cars:

Considering the claims by Kaz that GT Sport may have up to 500 cars, here's a list I devised of standard cars that would go well with the GT Sport format and should receive the premium treatment, based off of cars from GT3 and GT Concept (Underlined). The group listing is based off of what I would think would work in terms of balance and accessibility.

I loved the Marcos. It was a fun car (along with many other classic standard cars) in GT6. I got mine in Bahama Yellow and kept it that color because in my eyes, it looks sooo good.

These are so fun to make.
